   The staff at Bowery was phenomenal and attentive. They offered amazing service and recommendations to have during our dinner that were delicious. Bowery is truly a unique steak experience that everyone must have in NYC.

   Made a reservation here for my wife’s 50th birthday. Everything was fantastic - the ambiance; the food; the service… EVERYTHING!!! Must try the duck lasagna next time we are back.

   Great service and atmosphere. My wife’s steak was undercooked then overcooked on the correction. Second steak was also undercooked. The other parts of the meal were excellent.

    This is by far my favorite restaurant in NYC. All of their food is incredible and I’ve been here at least 6-7 times and never had anything bad. For drinks are amazing, the ambiance is perfect. Highly recommend.

    Average steak house. Felt over priced and tired - the steak itself was great but the mashed potatoes tasted like instant potatoes and the shrimp cocktail was average sized shrimp served in an unimpressive dish.

    Overall, had a great time at the restaurant. It was my first time there and did not know what to expect. The experience ended up being great. The meatballs and octopus were delicious and the meats were great as well.

    Overall, the experience was good - not great. Service was slow and we had to flag down a waiter to order drinks and food multiple times. The food was good but I’ve had better in NYC.

    Been 50+ times and will not be back. Chef randomly decides to implement No substitution policy. The restaurant was not busy. The Mac and cheese was like soup. The server literally took our order and our check and didn’t check on us once in between. I’m not a person who writes reviews but that was terrible.

    An absolutely amazing experience! The service was great and the food was incredible. I don’t generally like steak, but my boyfriend loves it so I was willing to try it. This was the first time I’ve ever genuinely liked steak in my life. The drinks were amazing as well. Make sure to leave room for the deep dish cookie for dessert as well!

    My mom and I went for a nice dinner while she was visiting. We made reservations for 8:15 pm and arrived at 8 pm and grabbed a drink at the bar. It was super busy and we unfortunately didn’t get sat until 8:45, but the host (I believe he may have been the manager) was very kind and gave us a great booth made for 4-5 people for the inconvenience. We also met the chef who was very nice! My filet was cooked perfectly and au jou sauce was amazing. Will definitely be visiting again!

    We had a reservation for 7:30. We arrived 1 hour early to a mostly empty restaurant. The girls working reception were extremely rude, and highly unprofessional. I could see tables were available immediately both in person and on open table but they claimed everything was committed with reservations. We were told to come back at our reservation time and would be seated then. I had one friend with me who is a larger girl and they kept looking at her with disgust. I relented and came back at 7:26 pm. Yet again they were rude and unprofessional. There were empty tables available but we were told to wait. Then I get a ding on my phone that my reservation was now changed to 745. Then we are asked if a booth or table would work. I politely said a booth wouldn’t work with my friends size that it needed to be a table. The man then kept arguing with me. I informed him that it’s her birthday and squeezing her into a booth was a recipe for disaster. He acted disgusted and went away. Moments later he walks but with another group of four pointing to us as they walk by and laughing with them. Then we are taken to a tiny table in the bar area. The chairs only at our table were like Mia matched chairs from storage with all other chairs at other tables perfectly matched. I should have just left multiple times, but this was her favorite restaurant on our last trip and getting somewhere else on a Saturday night would be another losing battle. We were seated and it took forever to get service and we finally did. Our waiter was lovely. Our bill for 4 people almost $1,000. My steak was burned to a crisp and dry. I will never set foot in this restaurant again and will never recommend it again.

    When dinning with two people it is not possible to find the appropriate size dishes. Everything is for large groups. Steaks are all 10 ounces or larger. Salads and sides are so so big. Baked potato was cold and hard on the outside like it had been sitting around for days. Service very slow. Bartender was great at the bar.

    The food was excellent so was the service however the bartender made the drinks extremely sweet and even when I asked for a skinny margarita he couldn’t make it without sugary ingredients. Skinny Margarita or Espresso martini ( not sweet ) are very common drinks every where. I finally had plain sipping Tequila and my husband ordered wine.

    First time here on Friday 7/8/22. Everything was spectacular. Best burger I have ever had that wagyu burger bun was in a league of its own too even. Loved the house made ricotta toast every bit as perfect as it was when I had it at Burger and Barrel before the pandemic closed it
