   My fiancé and I had the most amazing time here. It was definitely out most memorable experience during our entire trip to NYC. We had a beer and the octopus appetizer at the bar, followed by the most amazing pork dish for two. The wine list had my favorite Oregon Pinot Noir, which pared amazing with the meal and the romantic ambiance. I can’t say enough positive things about our experience. Coming from the service industry, the level of hospitality was top notch. I definitely knew I was eating at a well-deserved Michelin Star restaurant. Thank you Tuome!

   Extremely original and yummy food but the tables are too close together and therefore it is extremely noisy. I think for the price the tables should be further apart.

   we had each a starter (e.g. the octopus was pretty good), bur for main it was really delicious as we took the pork belly for two. that was really something special (you can get it just as a portion for two), wine and selection was as well very good. we had a nice evening with an excellent service and atmosphere.

   Excellent food, excellent service. We tried the deviled eggs, the chicken liver pate and the pig-out entree with the sticky rice and asparagus sides. All were surprisingly creative and delicious. Their desert tempted even those of us who felt too full for desert! There are restaurants with more upscale ambiance for the price, but for a Michelin star rated restaurant, this is very good value and highly recommended!

    Excellent food, innovative menu, good sized portions, very good pricing....particularly for the wines. This tiny restaurant in the East Village has it all, except decor and comfy seating. You are basically dining with the people at the table next to you! So...come here for the food (one star Michelin and well deserved!), but, not the ambience.

    This was our first time at Tuome, and we could not have been happier. The food was genuinely innovative and perfectly prepared. They have a small, but carefully selected menu that works really well, as well as a nice and reasonably priced wine list. Best of all, the service was warm, unhurried (a wonderful and rare thing in NYC!) and personal without being overbearing. We didn’t even realize they have a Michelin star until we got there, but it makes complete sense that they do, and it’s well deserved. I’m sure this will be the first of many visits for us!

    We had to stand and wait even for 5 minutes after our reservation time. Was too crowded and noisy. Would not recommend for an intimate date night. Seems good for drinking and catching up with buddies and being freely loud. Food was great.

    I had not been back for two years, so many other places to try. The others were all a waste of time, I could eat at Tuome every night. Great food, subtle, inventive and just plain delectable. Friendly warm service too.

    In a relaxed, cosy atmosphere, the food was wonderful at this neighbourhood feeling restaurant. Coming from Europe we found the service a little too pushy and quick, in that American way of service. Would definitely come back for the food, but not a celebratory or special occasion meal.

    Their signature dish the "pig out" was really awesome, the meat was tender and lean, even being pork belly. The top was amazingly crispy and the sauces that they brought enhanced the favor tremendously .

    Our hostess and waiter were personable, knowledgeable, attentive, efficient, and neat. It made for a great dining experience, and the food definitely made it even better! We ordered about half of the menu (because why not), and every single dish had a unique taste. Every dish was well-presented both aesthetics-wise and flavor-wise. All of the flavors blended excellently yet also stood out on their own. I would come back to try the rest of the menu.

    This was my second time at Tuome and both times have been great. All the dishes are unique and delicious. I really couldn’t single anything out and have had over half the menu at this point as my first time was a large group for a birthday that did family style. I’m personally a fan of chicken liver and my fiancé is not and she liked theirs a lot so it’s def exceptional. The Wagyu beef medallions are awesome and the grilled octopus is some of the best I’ve ever had. Perfect crisp outside and juicy inside. The pork for 2 is so good. The deviled eggs were different recipes each time I went and both were great. The quail was tasty as well. It’s all good. A little pricey but duh... it’s a Michelin Star restaurant. I’ve been to similarly priced restaurants and left feeling cheated. Never at Tuome. It’s pricey because it’s great quality food, prepared in interesting ways, and with great service.

    Our group of 5 had a wonderful meal, sharing different plates family style. It was fun to try different dishes and flavors. We especially enjoyed the Pig Out (crispy skin roasted pork for 2), chicken liver appetizer and the fried deviled eggs. Casual atmosphere, great food- I would definitely go back and recommend to friends.

    Food is good but the restaurant is far too noisy, 92 db is not the noise level where one enjoys dining. And we could not read the menu without a torch because it was so dark.

    Cozy and intimate setting. I personally thought the Pig Out was just alright, so it was kind of disappointing that I couldn’t order another entree since the dish was already for two. Amazing sweet potato side, fried mantou dessert and deviled eggs appetizer. Overall a lovely experience.

    This restaurant is outstanding in all facets. The deviled eggs were outrageously tasty... very creatively presented. The chicken liver mousse was terrific. The scallops were perfectly prepared. I recommend the sticky rice and broccoli for sides.
