    Service was very poor, food barely warm and the restaurant forgot 1 of our 2 entrees. Server, was inattentive and, ultimately, apologetic. We were offered a complimentary dessert for the problems but it took 20 mins to be served and by that time we were ready to leave. Wrote poor service in the check, which included a unilateral 18% gratuity.

    Definitely will recommend the Brunch menu to everyone. The Matador Brunch is spectacular with great fresh and creative options. The staff offers flawless services and amazing detail in all they do. Our waitress from Argentina was incredible along with Alba the manager coming to check how everything was going and offering great feedback and details about the Matador. Special praise to Chef Daniel as he came by and offered outstanding recommendations from the Brunch menu and guided us thru adventurous culinary experience and great cocktail pairing with each dish. We started with Spicy Tuna tartar and Sweet pea guacamole both we light and very fresh to begin opening our palates. Then we had the Everything crusted Calamari which was superb crispy outside but so tender inside which is hard to find bc most place over fry here it was perfection. Another incredible bite was Cinco Jotas Ham and Manchego Cheese Fritters and the paprika sauce was out of this world. On the heavier side we truly enjoyed the Black Truffle and Fontina Cheese which has a light salad on top which pairing so perfect in order to cut through all the richness. Cocktails have had Basil jalapeno margarita, Ginger margarita, A Mezcal cocktail and Vodka thyme lemonade all we very creative and so delicious and refreshing. All in all we loved this brunch for many reason first the incredible service for all the staff, the view, the professionalism yet very comfortable ambience felt, and the star of it all the food. Thank you Matador we will be back!

    Beautiful ambiance and wonderful service. Definitely feels like a special outing. The food was a bit patchy. The calamari was just barely warm and mediocre, but the grilled octopus and short rib tacos were absolutely delicious. I will definitely come back.

    Not as it once was. Staff was nowhere near attentive, things were forgotten in every course, no guidance on menu, food was just ok. Sorry to see it as we loved it years ago.

    Overall a lovely experience. Dining outside is a lot different in terms of ambience. Also nosier and more casual. You get a great deal of noise from surrounding properties. Still despite the difference, dining outside was nice. Food was good and service was as top notch.

    Whenever we are in Miami we eat here; the food is superb and the service outstanding. Their chili shrimp appetizer is incredible and the steak, is one of the best we have ever had.

    We’be been here before and everything is amazing , service was excellent and the food was great! The waitress was super friendly and the food came to the table really fast. Delicious tomato salad, grilled octopus, chicken and rice dish, shrimp ! Drinks are also very well made. And even though it was raining that evening, you feel like you’re dining in paradise (outside) Love this place, will be coming back again! :)

    I am not sure why it took us this long to come here. We’ve always indulged in cocktails and appetizers at the Matador Bar but this time we made a reservation for the full culinary experience and it did not disappoint. Our server Cara I believe was so kind, polite and explained everything to us. The sommelier, Ray was on point and so knowledgeable. Had a wonderful time and we can’t wait to come back.

    Would come again after they correct the following: - represent accurately online- there is no indoor service for brunch although they do not present themselves that way online -what a shame! Outdoor terrace was nice but you must say online that is the only brunch space at the matador. - servers for our table of 8 had no clue who ordered what when presenting the drinks or the meals- really??? Entrees came out before appetizers for the table- sad. Too bad be cause the food was quite nice! - last - we had to search high and low for manager to get our valet tickets stamped for discount off the pricey $35 valet price. Car valet pathetic! So slow, so awful it blew the entire lovely experience due to the pathetically long wait for our car! These are easily corrected mistakes. I expected higher standards from The Edition hotel and matador Rsstsurant

    We selected The Matador Room at the EDITION Miami Beach for our anniversary and couldn’t have been more pleased with how the evening went. The 7-course Romantic Dinner experience was exceptional. The printed menus, candles, and beautiful setting were great. But what truly stood out was the exceptional and friendly service. From the well crafted menu (everything was a hit with both of us) the charred octopus with crispy potatoes and smoked paprika was particularly memorable. The grand finale of pepper crusted beef tenderloin and grilled Maine lobster were cooked impeccably. All together it was a memorable meal that perfectly left us happy and full. The portions were generous without skimping on quality or attention to detail. The team at the edition was fully up to the task of this great tasting menu and took us on a culinary journey we won’t soon forget. Thank you to Matthew in particular who took great care of us and Ray our sommelier who went above and beyond to find us a great non-alcoholic champagne to celebrate despite us not being drinkers. We would highly recommend this experience to others. Enjoy!

    Everything we ordered was fantastic. The fish tacos is a must try! I know I know how different can fish tacos really be but the pop of flavors is spectacular! The strawberry pavlova dessert amazingggg! The peppered steak was greats and the chocolate cake and ice cream was the best I’ve had. Definitely lives up to the expectations 😋

    Our server and her staff were simply amazing. Such attention to detail and to every request we had. Place is beautiful and the chef did a phenomenal presentation of each of his dishes. One of the best if not the best places to dine on south beach. Bar area was fun and lively. Great outdoor area and the Decor was great. Overall 5 stars! You will not regret spending a night with this staff and it’s amazing chef.

    Everything amazing. Maybe, a little too much hot sauce in every dish. For people not used to it, for example my grandparents, its difficult to eat. However, very tasty and excelent. In addition, outside its very hot, maybe adding more vents would be nice. In conclusion, very good, will come back for sure!
