Located on the beautiful waterfront of Thames Street Landing, DeWolf Tavern offers a variety of dining options. Enjoy the breeze from Mount Hope Bay with a cocktail on the patio after work. The downstairs tavern serves light meals and drinks for lunch and dinner in a cozy, rustic atmosphere featuring stone walls and barked trees as supports. For a more intimate setting, enjoy a romantic dinner for two or celebrate with a group of guests in the upstairs dining room. The fireplace seating and the spectacular waterfront view ensure every visit feels like a special occasion.

Chef Sai draws inspiration from the fresh local seafood available in Rhode Island and has created a unique Contemporary American-Indian menu that highlights these ingredients. He has mastered various cooking techniques worldwide, resulting in incredible dishes that blend local flavors with the intense heat of the charcoal tandoor. Try the classic stuffed lobster, lamb curry, or a bowl of seafood stew.

Omg this place was fantastic. Not one of our dishes escaped a rave review to the waiter. Fantastic atmosphere and so quaint. We can’t speak to the noise level as this was a Tuesday evening and the place was mostly empty. It can hold a fair amount of folks in the bar area so it *may* get noisy, but that’s just a guess.

The seafood stew was absolutely delicious. The broth was so tasty. My wife really enjoyed her swordfish.

We dine regularly at the DeWolf Tavern whenever we are in the Newport/Bristol area. Consistently excellent food and service. Last night, we ate outdoors, with a scenic view of the ocean. My wife is a vegan, and they have several very tasty food options for her, and are flexible about modifying dishes. Highly recommended.

Food and service was great. Filet was delicious and the Lobster pot pie was very flavorful. Our waitress was attentive and friendly.

First time back in over 4 yrs just like I remembered. Very nice atmosphere and service staff. Table of 5 everyone lived the apps, entrees, and desserts. French Press coffee was great. Recommended to all.

DeWolf is a hidden gem. They serve one of the best breakfasts in Bristol at a much cheaper price than the other establishments and people don’t know about it. People associate DeWolf with dinner.

This place is right on the water and the seafood dishes are amazing! The seafood stew was excellent! This is definitely a place I would come back to and recommend for anyone to try!
