The cheerful dining room is a great setting for simple business lunches or a great evening dining experience. There is a full bar offering domestic, imported and Mexican beer, wine and our signature margarita, all to compliment the cafe’s authentic Mexican cuisine.

House specialties include Carne a la Brasa--skirt steak marinated in chipotle and lime, served with rice, beans and guacamole. Our Tacos al Pastor were acclaimed in the NY Times as well as a wide assortment of savory enchiladas, sizzling fajitas and other Mexican favorites. We also have a large selection of seafood dishes, including ceviche, oysters, and drunken clams.

Little Mexican Cafe is the perfect place for hosting special occasions. Accommodations for private parties up to fifty people are available.

Everything was OK until dessert. I ordered the tres leches cake. (I'm a big fan of this dessert and have eaten it frequently in many different restaurants.) Here, it is simply horrible. It is bone dry - not a leche to be found and certainly not 3. I couldn't even eat the first bite. You, of course, would assume that when I alerted the restaurant to this on a large check they would have taken it off the bill. Not here. Just didn't seem to care.

Pretty average Mexican food, though above average for the area. We were late because it took us a while to figure out where to park, and they were kind enough to hold our table. Margarita was delicious.

The food was great. We parked across the street on Main Street with metered parking. Our dinner was delicious. Very little ambiance but very fresh food.

We had a reservation at Little Mexican Cafe and it was not honored. They called two hours before our reservations and said they were not taking reservations for Cinco De Mayo. I made these reservations weeks ahead of time! Shame on the restaurant for being so rude! Beware of making Open Table reservations with this restaurant!

As soon as we enter the door, 2 hostes were just staring at us, couldnt even greet us or say Hi, so we said we have a reservation on open table and looks like they have no idea whats our reservation. Our Server was attentive, but Im not sure what happened, we ordered the menudo soup and they serve the hominy soup. Not a big deal, they replace it and It came after 3 mins. Other staff need to be attentive, we had to ask them for more water several times because nobody is reffiling our water. We will come back in the future but I hope we get a better service.

The place was alright. The food was tasty, but nothing extraordinary. Service was adequate, but not very attentive (two waitstaff who were doing everything ...swamped). I tried to use the restroom, but it was a mess.

My reservations were never recorded. We were seated in the back next to the bathroom and employees were organizing dishwear on front of customers. No music. The ambiance was terrible and the service was dissappinting because no one cared. But the food is delicious. Guarentee great guacamole in particular.

I want to start by saying we order Little Mexican all the time and the food is always delicious. However, in the restaurant the experience was sub-par at best. We went for margarita Monday. The waitress had difficulty communicating with us and took forever to bring things we asked for. Also, apparently fajitas no longer come with the "fix-ins" for you to make your own. They literally came with tortillas. Nothing else! So we had to ask for them on the side, and of course we got charged for them. We tried asking about this after our bill came, and because of the language our waitress just had no idea how to respond. The chicken and pork in my friend's tamales were not fresh and she could taste it immediately. The margaritas were eh. Very juicy. It's really unfortunate because we love ordering in form there. We will continue to go to bartaco when we want to eat Mexican food out. its good every single time.
