Great service; food; ambiance.
All I have to say is WOW!!!! Job well done times 10. Jesus was just impeccable. He chose the wine for us and hit it out of the park. He truly made our anniversary just phenomenal. He guided us on the menu and was so knowledgeable. He was amazing!
The atmosphere, the service, the hospitality, the food, the wine EVERYTHING!!!! Just pure perfection. Paco came to our table and showed us his art pieces... I was just very impressed with him and him making us feel like we were a guest in his home.
My husband and I enjoy fine dining and we are thoroughly pleased with how our evening turned out. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for going above and beyond to make our evening special and unforgettable.
The food is simply amazing. The foie gras is out of this world. My husband said that would be his last meal if he had to chose.... lol
They have truly created a restaurant that makes the guests feel right at home from every detail chosen.
Excellent. Excellent. Excellent.
INCREDIBLE!!!!! I highly recommend this restaurant! You will not be disappointed!
Birthday dinner. Wonderful.
The location is not suitable for a fency and price restaurant
The food was very good and the service was exceptional. It was like being in Spain at a 5 star restaurant. This food will not appeal to everyone, but it will appeal to most foodies. The appetizers and the desert would be hard to beat anywhere. My wife said it was one of the best meals she has had in years. We will definitely return when we get back to Houston.
We celebrated Halloween with BCN and had a delightful evening. We had not made arrangements in advance for a tasting menu, but they made it available anyway. The food was absolutely first rate, authentic Spanish with some special touches, and the wine pairings were sensational. The service was impeccable and the ambiance perfect. It all made for a truly wonderful evening. We will be back.
Food was great. The only downside was towards the end of the night, when the uber driver can't seem to find the place.
Delicioso y excelente servicio la gente amable y de ambiente muy adecuado al lugar.
Really, there is no where better in Houston. Dinner is simply a fantastic, elegant experience. The food is fabulous, and the service is top notch - friendly, knowledgeable, patient.
Great ambiance, food and service ! Will frequent this restaurant. Oh and desserts were great also .
Small restaurants makes for difficulty with reservations.
Exceptional meal, service was great as well. Staff was friendly, efficient and helpful. We all enjoyed all the dishes especially the octopus, calamari, branzini fish. Fresh seafood. We will definitely be back. We were welcomed by Paco( Francisco) very friendly. Our server Lupisan was great. Thank you for making our 34th wedding anniversary dinner special.
Our first experience at BCN was as close to immaculate as a restaurant could get. Jesus was superb, cocktails were aromatically tasty and the food channeled home. I’ve NEVER had a restaurant give us the opportunity to try a spoonful of a dish before committing and every recommendation made was spot on. The atmosphere was just what we were looking for. Make your reservation early. I’ll be back before the end of the year.
In my opinion BCN is the overall best restaurant in Houston. Truly authentic Spanish food, with the best quality ingredients, professional, friendly service, in a quaint environment. I've never had a meal I didn't love here. It's wonderful for a romantic dinner or a business meal or dining at the bar. I can't say enough about BCN. Truly the best.
Highly recommend for any special occasion. Staff is very friendly and service is superb. Food is delicious along with a great presentation. Buen provecho!
Everything was great. The food was awesome and the service even better.
Awesome food service and experience
Our whole experience at BCN was wonderful. We were a little late for our reservation after having driven through 3 hours of torrential rain and then stopping to pick up my daughter from her college dorm. We were warmly greeted and immediately seated. Every need and request was attended to promptly. The waitstaff was extremely helpful with excellent recommendations for cocktails, menu selections, and wine (the wine list is exclusively Spanish with some offerings that were unfamiliar to me). The food was exceptional - among the best I have ever experienced. The restaurant is very warm and inviting.
Great experience at bcn. Service and food some of best in Houston. Highly recommend even if reservation is tougher than average to get. Worth the effort.
About as close to perfection as you will find. Impeccable service, and food, and ambience.
This is my favorite restaurant in Houston. The food, the service and the ambiance are outstanding! The art is fabulous upstairs and downstairs. A must try are the varieties of tastey and beautiful gin & tonics. Great story about the start of the restaurant in Houston. You can ask.
Great food very good service
Upstairs very quiet and special atmosphere. Food is always the best. Service is unmatched.
Beautiful meal and dining experience. Our go-to place for special occasions.
BCN is consistently delicious, timely and the service is impeccable. This is one of the top 3 restaurants in Houston.
Everything was top notch- beginning with unique setting inside an old house. Lighting at this place is perfect-ambient, soft, and non-intrusive. The menu is so diverse and appealing, I wanted one of everything listed there. And food was so tasty that I am planning a definite come back. Totally fit for foodies, great for a celebratory dinner, or a date. Overall feel is sophisticated yet exceptionally friendly and not stuffy. Just wonderful.
The best service we have ever had!
The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. We will certainly be going back.
This place never disappoints. The service is always great starting with the valet and continuing with the waiter (Jerry in this case) and the Sommelier. The bread is one of the best in Houston and US; came out steaming with soft interior and a crust that crackled when broken. The olives are the best I've ever had in the US; tastes like Spain. The Iberico de Ballota Jamon is simply the best tapa that there is. I hate to say that the daily special, lobster salad and pork ravioli appetizers, were a bit lack-luster; both lacked flavor. Nevertheless the overall experience was great. The steak is the best in Houston. The fish entrees are always good. The Spanish wine list is relatively short (compared to some book-size lists in Houston) but concentrated with good choices that span from quite affordable ($70) to good-for-special-occasions and for impressing business guests ($200-$400), without extending to the ridiculous. I especially love the choices from the Priorat region. I had two glasses for $12 each that were by far, the best $12 glass of wine I have ever had. (Note to owner: Please do not jack up the prices, because this good deal is part of the attraction of your restaurant). While we did not have them, they offer some specialty drinks (Gin-Tonics, etc.) that include the most beautiful ice cubes that you have ever seen; perfectly cubic and clear as glass. Overall this restaurant does practically everything right. The atmosphere is nice, sound level is good for conversation, the food is among the best in Houston.
It was by far the best experience in a Restaurant we had in Houston, since we move to that city, one year ago.
We loved the food, the service , and the place!
Just awesome, we love BCN every time we go
BCN is our go-to date night spot for tapas, sangria and G&Ts. It’s also where we take all our out of town guests, celebrate special occasions and recommend to friends. The food and service is always impeccable. Great menu options and amazing off-menu selections. Not an inexpensive evening, but definitely worth it every time.
A real taste of Spain, beautifully prepared. Superb wine list, with many smaller boutique bodegas as well as great classics, very reasonably priced.
Excellent food, Excellent service, great Wine, awesome food
The most beautiful, and the best food restaurant.
This was my first time at BCN and I can say it will not be my last time. We tried the tasting menu and it was fantastic! We also indulged in some fantastic gin and tonics along with some Spanish wine. Chef Luis and his staff were amazing and truly made this the best dining experience in Houston!
This is, quite simply, the best restaurant in Houston; and has been for some time.
The food is amazing (you must try the suckling pig at least once), the decor warm and unique and the service impeccable.
I would go there weekly if i could restrain myself and not over order every time.
Somewhat on the pricey side. There are other continental cuisine restaurants with nice ambiance that are a better value.
We came my for husband’s bday since we were there once before and really liked it.
This time I liked it a little less. The food (main dish)was just ok,I just should have not got what waiter was pushing so much(lamb chops). My husband got suckling pig which he liked but both dishes being almost $60 each i expected more. Just didn’t like waiter suggesting the most expensive dishes including the special appetizer without telling the price and it’s not even being good. The only things I really liked were sangrias, both white and red.in conclusion it’s a pretty place for a special occasion but I doubt I will be back, can find some better spots when spending over $200.
Great Service, modern take on traditional fine Spanish cuisine. Expensive but worth it.
