We had a birthday celebration at Brennan's and were WOWED by the experience. So personable, so gracious, so thankful we were dining with them. We took our servers suggestion on menu selections. If every in the area, consider Brennan's as a must on your dining options.

Took my young adult children and their sweeties on a special NOLA trip and Brennan's did not disappoint. Food choices that evening were unique and delicious! I remember having stuffed mushrooms there several years ago - would love to see that back on the menu. Banana's Foster was AMAZING!

The best brunch I have ever been to! Great for a special occasion. NOLA coffee was great, the goat cheese appetizer was one of the best I have ever had, and all of our mains were to die for. Definitely coming back and saving room for the bananas foster!

Absolutely a fantastic dining experience. The food was outstanding, so much so that my boyfriend said it was the best chicken he's ever had. Also, highly recommend Brennan's creations, specifically the Bananas Foster, which is delicious and prepared table side, making for an awesome show. Aside from the food itself, the restaurant is set beautifully inside and out. We ate in the courtyard, which was lovely and romantic. Additionally, the entire staff, especially our waiters, who we were able to converse with a bit throughout our dinner, were so kind, and always ready to make recommendations and/or share local history.

The Good, The Bad and The Worse. The good: Food and service are awesome. My wife had the Eggs Sardou and the eggs were perfectly cooked. I had the crawfish quiche. Lots and lots of crawfish. Overall excellent. The bad: Not much. The worse: The dress code. They have a dress code on their website and it would certainly be nice if they enforced it. There was a guy sitting at the next table wearing, jogging shorts, t-shirt and baseball cap. Complete BS. At least someone could have told him to take the cap off. This is Brennan's after all. If you are not going to enforce the dress code, remove it from your website.

I was very excited to dine at Brennan’s with my daughter while visiting New Orleans. After being seated and reviewing the menu, we explained to the server that my daughter has food allergies (shellfish, nuts, cream) and asked him to check with the kitchen about certain dishes. Our server came back to say that there were only three items my daughter would be able to order - turtle soup, a salad, and a lamb dish. He then suggested that we may have come to the wrong city since shellfish and cream are on all the menus. We gave our thanks and went elsewhere. In the end I was surprised that the kitchen didn’t suggest an off-menu option: a simply prepared fish, a steak without sauce. I would caution potential diners with allergies that they may find very few options on the menu at Brennan’s.

Brunch at Brennan’s was over the top. All entrees were delicious, well-prepared, and well-presented. In particular, the Eggs Hussarde and Eggs St. Charles were standouts. We also loved the desserts, something we rarely have at brunch.
