I highly recommend this Groupon. The staff, and particularly our server Kelsey, were extremely friendly, accommodating, and professional. Our dinner was especially tasty and well-crafted. We used more than a dozen Groupons on our vacation to the DC area, and this was by far our favorite. Thank you DC Harvest!

The food is farm to table and it taste like it. Everything from the appetizer and entree was great. Also, I have been here for brunch and the bacon is the best I have ever tasted ever. They cure it there so that may be why.

I guess this is a situation where my expectations for a farm to table experience were too high. The food was good but not amazing. Service was passable but with minimal personality attached. Ambiance (music and carryover conversations from another table) made it hard to hear each other. For the price I guess I expected more.

We had a very nice brunch today. The service was very good. Our server was knowledgeable of both menu items and service practices. The menu was hard ro undeestand (largely due to a lack of punctuation and word spacing), so some of the dishes were not what we expected, but they were tasty. I also frlt the prices were a bit high for some of the dishes. Overall, a nice meal, however.

Great food, we loved how locally sourced ingredients were used and the house made bacon! The grits are amazing- as are the spelt pancakes. Everything tastes delicious but doesn't leave you feeling gross and fatty. Mimosa deal is also great!

Way too expensive. Crazy that you pay $15 for French toast and it doesn't even come with anything. Brunch for $57 is ridiculous.

Food was absolutely delicious and the service was great, but it was expensive. $11 for a single Bloody Mary during weekend brunch is a lot. (Maybe I'm just used to it being so cheap in Richmond, VA...) $48-50 meal for brunch that didn't even include bottomless anything is too much. I'll probably return when I'm not a broke college graduate. And Yes, I did tip 20% even though I'm broke. I'm not horrible.

This charming location on H Street is really a gem. The interior spaces are well done and comfortable. There is a lovely bar to the left as you enter with tables in the main dining space farther back. The exposed brick wall adds ambiance but the space remains quietly elegant. The food is amazing! The Hapy Hour lamb appetizer was awesome! The dinner menu provides vegetarian options and everything is locally sourced and prepared perfectly. The owner was delightful and made our experience memorable with his suggestions and information about the menu items. All in all - a wonderful experience we will repeat!

The owner was very welcoming and made a place for us at the bar, since we were delayed for our lunch reservation by traffic. My Shrimp and Grits was delightful, and my friend said the egg scramble with sweet potato hash was the best egg meal she ever had! I will certainly go back, soon!

I don't normally write reviews but I had to in this instance. Overall the food was experimental and edible. That said, what bothered me the most about my dining experience was getting my entree order wrong and not offering to either replace it or take it off my bill. From a service perspective that was a BIG red flag as to whether or not I would every return or recommend to friends. Bottom line, I'm more than willing to pay for anything I order but when I order your lamb entree and your kitchen sends out steak instead. I inform you about the mistake and all you can say is that should be the lamb and let me take it up with my kitchen and you never return to remedy the problem. That inaction spoke loud and clear as to how you felt about my business. More than likely I will not return to DC Harvest as a dining.

Four of us went for dinner at 6:00 on a Sunday evening before a play at the Atlas Theater on H St. Surprisingly we were able to park right outside the door. As usual they were very welcoming (we've been there before using Groupons, though not this time). The service was get. The bowl of pickled vegetable put on the table, while deciding what to order, are tart and tasty. I ordered the lamb on quinoa and it had a wonderful, smoky char. Everyone was very happy with their dishes. Of course the s'more deserts with soft chocolate cream, toasted marshmallows and chunky graham cracker cookies is the perfect way to end dinner. They made sure we got out I. Time for our show at 7:30.

We were initially greeted and seated by an individual that appeared to not want to be at work that particular day. Waitress was fine; however, my choice of entrée was subpar to say the least. I ordered the "French toast" which literally turned out to be bread pudding. Was way too thick and sweet. They did not offer maple syrup for the French toast nor the pancakes. If one opted for pancakes, one had to choose from chocolate syrup as a condiment or something else even more ridiculous. There also are no salt/pepper shakers on the tables or anywhere! To top it all off, the meal was truly expensive for what you are actually being served. Will never return.

Place was half empty yet we had to wait 20 minutes for a table. The potatoes are under cooked and food in general was over priced for basic simple meal. The bottom less drinks is a plus and a good price, but the bloodmary is terrible. At least our waitress was a pleasure to deal with, and the bread appetizer was not bad.

The service was wonderful, and the sides were very tasty. However, my beau's steak was simply a sub par cut of meat. It was very tough, to the point where he didn't even finish it. I had the chicken breast, which was tough, and over cooked. The ambience was lovely though! I wouldn't return, there are just far too many better options in DC.

We were seated quickly. Cocktails were average. Service was average, our server actually interrupted one of my questions saying, "Excuse me, I need to go get that party with the crying kid out of here." The tables were crowded, we were set by the table holding all the dirty dishes. It was very loud and startling every time a tray of dishes were pitched in there. The oysters were below average. The "doughnuts" were amazing. The kid's pasta was very dry. The only way we could add chicken to their pasta was to buy an additional meal that had chicken.

I would definitely consider their meal that I had a very interesting experience. I think that this restaurant has a very specialized kind of menu and I think if you allow them to explain to you exactly what it is that they are trying to do that you can appreciate it. I had a gin cocktail that was not very good and was very small but then my waitress put orange juice in it and it was Simply Delicious. For dinner I had the steak and there was not a hint of salt on it. It had some flavor but it's not exactly something that I would order again.

Had an outstanding brunch at DC Harvest. Everything was really excellent. My Bloody Mary was delicious as were my Low Country Shrimp and Grits. My friend also loved her scramble. It's definitely boisterous and noisy, not so good for an intimate occasion. Also, my oysters weren't completely cut off the muscle connected to the shell which was a slight annoyance at a restaurant. Other than that, highly recommended!

I went to Open Table to find a Vegetarian/Vegan Restaurant and found very few Vegan options and a limited menu. With that said, the waitress was very good, made suggestions and I think we all enjoyed the food. The upstairs had a cold draft, so I would not eat near the windows and try to get downstairs in the winter months. I think if you lived/worked close, a nice place to go/try. Food was very good which is why you go out to eat.

Food was pretty good, but the menu was limited. Probably about average price for brunch in DC. Would not recommend if you are eating with a picky eater. However, the food was different from what you get at a lot of places. The building was cute and its in a nice location near enough to the capital building, but inside was very loud esp. for such a small building. My friends and I had some difficultly hear each other at times. Overall, good but underwhelming.

Nice idea, bad experience. The food is okay, but not exceptional -- especially for the price. The whole menu is $2-3 too much. Only the cocktails are in-line with other DC menu prices. But I will never go back because of the sound. The noise level in the dining room was oppressive, and I was shouting to be heard at a two person table.

Horrible experience. I dined here to receive 1,000 OpenTable table points. I thought I would be experimental and try a new restaurant, big mistake!! The biggest problem is that after I sat through the mediocre broccoli soup, disgustingly dry quinoa cakes and painfully dry bread pudding I still didn't receive my 1,000! They input my date & I as one person so we wouldn't get 1,000 and was left with only 100. So ate at this nasty restaurant for nothing. And to correct the point I have to have the restaurant call open table on my behalf which is creating such a hassle as I can't get anyone I pick up the phone! Be wear!!! Extremely unsatisfactory customer.

The menu had a nice spread of unique brunch options and specialty cocktails. I had the sausage scramble which was delicious, but the portion size was really huge. My chief complaints were that the drinks were VERY overpriced for what was a half-flute of champagne and fruit juice. Our side order of bacon came out so late we'd already finished our meal. The ambiance was nice but the servers and bartenders seemed stressed and weren't that friendly. It took us a while to even get menus and water. May go there again for happy hour, but likely not for brunch again.

A friend and I were excited to try D.C. Harvest, but were very disappointed by the service. Perhaps it was just Sunday night malaise. We were presented with menus and 20 minutes later were asked what we'd like to order. When I asked about GF options, was advised the brisket was okay. When it arrived to the table almost immediately, it was plated on top of cous cous. I asked and it was replaced with potatos, which was nice, but also made me skeptical of the overall care to gluten allergies. Our plates were left in front of us for a very long time after it was obvious that we were finished eating, and the bill was brought to the table before the plates were even removed. Just poor attentiveness.
