   This was a very good dining experience all the way around. It far exceeds its current Zagat rating. It's a beautiful space with excellent dining and service. Everything was better than we anticipated.

   This is a place with huge potential but is let down by disjointed service - it was a bit like trying to dance with someone who is really uncoordinated. The staff just don't seem to work as a team. Individual staff did try their best but lack of communication appears to be a problem. We arrived a few minutes early so were directed to the bar while our table was being made ready. Nobody told us when it was ready and it was only after half an hour that we asked about it that we were told it had been ready for some time. Even though it wasn't busy it was hard to get the attention of the bar woman. The bar staff didn't know we were eating at the restaurant so asked us twice if we'd like to order bar food and they were unable to transfer the bar bill to our table. I ordered the scallops and when they were arrived I noticed there was bacon in the preparation - which was not mentioned in the menu. The waiter was really good about changing it but such a shame that the person who wrote the menu didn't discuss it with the chef. The real issue here is the management - some staff are trying hard to please, others seem de-motivated or not very interested in the customers.

   Went to White St. for a second time. Ate early, so fewer diners and lots of attention from wait staff. Seafood appetizers (tuna tartare and seafood tacos) were very good. Scallops and branzino were excellent--spinach was quite nicely done. Pecan pie for dessert was a bit disappointing. Staff was very friendly and accommodating and I would definitely return.

   Absolutely horrible experience. Ruined our Anniversary Dinner with ineffective and uninterested service. Pretentious place. Can not review the food, as it barely came out and when it did, part of our order was missing. So, we left.

   a 5 star top notch experience! Worth every dime! This is my second time dining at White Street and I am always so impressed with the service quality, the quality of the food and the ambiance. They always have really great dishes and appetizers. Appetizers are great for sharing as well. The cocktails are so exceptional great! If you are into mixology this is the place to go to get a very different type of cocktail.

    Everything was great. The only critique is the hostess asked us when we were leaving because she had a reservation for our table. The restaurant was not crowded and other tables could have been used.

    Excellent quality restaurant with great service and atmosphere for an unbeatable brunch/lunch menu. Important to note that the restaurant is very family friendly with a dedicated room and person to entertain your kids during your weekend brunch/lunch. Strongly recommended!

    Lovely restaurant in west Soho/Tribeca. Lovely service, delicious food. Although this was a business meal, I definitely think it is a romantic spot, and would go for personal special occasions.

    This was a disappointing dinner. The food was ok. I ordered the burger (not the best quality meat I've had), which arrived 5-10 minutes before the ketchup and fries. The place was only half full.

    Outstanding dining experience. The entire staff was attentive and took care of all of our needs for our birthday celebration. The food was excellent, nice presentation, portions and delicious. The dining space is elegant and modern. Highly recommend !

    Food was fantastic, and the service was absolutely outstanding. Great service from the bartender, sommelier, and wait staff. We were celebrating a birthday and I felt like they went above and beyond to make it memorable for us.

    Pleasant surprise. I thought I made a reservation at a place further downtown. The location of White Street was much more quaint. The food was great and the service was great. The chef/owner? made rounds to the tables and even stopped at ours when I got his attention. There was an infant and toddler there when we arrived, not sure they ate anything from the menu though... Yum!

    The food was good and we enjoyed ourselves but our waiter and the food runner messed up an item and brought me something I was allergic to after I specifically asked about it. It appeared the waiter and the food runner didn't know the ingredients or basic allergen in the item. I was very specific so this was a large miss and if I hadn't caught it could have gotten very ill. They weren't even apologetic about it.

    Except for the host not marking my Open Table reservation it was a wonderful experience. Since it was a slow evening, our waiter let us have our after dinner drinks at an outside table. Will definitely return.

    We visiting White Street on a Saturday for brunch, we have a 4yr old, and it was perfect. This is a great spot for larger groups, it's a beautiful space, the menu is deliciously tempting and the food was flavorful, and you can't miss those scones for brunch! WOW! Our daughter truly enjoyed having a lovely brunch with family while she enjoyed the talents of a magician for entertainment. Definitely a spot we'll return to, I want another scone!

    WE had terrible service from the time we entered. We were rudely told to check our umbrellas with the host, without a welcome or a hello. Because they double and triple booked we were relegated to a table at the bar area. We had many different people come and wait on us but service was really really poor. The person who took our order did not know what branzino was. The bartender lady came and asked us for our drinks order 3 times and then disappeared to try and give us the bar check at the end of dinner. The staff were not communicating with one another. The food took a long time to come and we were not served any bread. In order to ask for it we literally had to run after one of the hosts to get him to listen to us and even then it took a long time. The food was excellent but would we go again - definitely NOT. Would we recommend this place to our friends - DEFINITELY NOT.

    When you arrive at White Street, you have an option: steps or elevator. Take the steps. They lead you into a delightful bar area and dining room. Exposed brick walls, tin ceilings, mood appropriate lighting. A precursor to what lays ahead. Wait staff was courteous and attentive-a delay in delivery of our cocktails was remedied with an unexpected "comp". Our dinners were served promptly and the food was perfectly prepared. The entire experience left us planning a return visit- and soon!

    i hour to get main course. 30 dollars added to the bil for tipl. thats ok, but on credit card charged total including the tip but indicated 6 dollars included for tip, and left blank for tip. Made you feel uncomfortable, as i was not going today the tip twice. VERY unethical. Further, they never told me the tip was included. They just added it, seemingly hoping you would not notice, and tip again. Left me feeling very uncomfortable. Will not return

    This is a pretty restaurant but the food and the service don't quite match the prices. The server seemed very inexperienced. I had the field green salad, which was served in a deep bowl that was hard to manage and contained way too much frisee. It was average. The fish came on a bed of cold vegetables, which did not enhance the flavors of the entree. I will not be back.

    It took 30 minutes to get our drinks and then quote a while to get our food. We were leisurely dining but we had to keep reminding them we were waiting. Beautiful place and food was very good, too bas service was not attentive until we brought it to their attention
