We ordered the Wagyu Ribeye and it was so tough. We struggled to cut through it. The food server removed it from our bill as he could see we couldn't cut through it. The sides were good but our entree was not. The food staff and Somalian were great.

Food was absolutely amazing! Full of flavor and unique. Will definitely be back again! Best salad I’ve ever had - hard to explain the components but so different and delicious. And the pheasant -truly yummy! Great service too

My wife and I returned to Fearing's after a two-year hiatus since moving out of town, and they haven't lost a step! Absolutely fantastic all the way around. The 7oz Wagyu Filet was, hands down, the best steak I have ever put in my mouth, and I am 53 years old. Dean came around, spoke to everyone with his usual smile, and asked us to let him know if we needed anything. Just the best restaurant around!

Excellent as always, however, was VERY disappointed they did not enforce their dress code. It is unacceptable to allow young ladies to dine in a restaurant of this caliber when they are dressed in blue jean cut-off shorts, crop tops and flip flops. My friend and I were simply appalled! Dean, you certainly do not need business that badly!

This should have been a magnificent experience, fine dining in the Ritz Carlton! It wasn’t though. The service was excellent, ambiance beautiful, but the food was honestly just hotel food. The only course that really popped was dessert! My Buffalo tenderloin was obviously cooked sous vide but then not seared and became rubbery from sitting under the heat lamp. My coworker had pheasant but it was a roulade and dried out and had a coagulated sauce on top that also appeared to dry out from the lamps. It was a disappointment for the price and location. Maybe just go for dessert and drinks at this spot!

Fearing’s is a bucket list dining experience for this foodie couple. While expected flavors abounded, it was the “surprise” flavor combos that really excited. From the beef carpaccio with diced pickled beets, to the buffalo tenderloin and it’s spicy, smoky, sweet flavors we enjoyed every bite We put ourselves in the hands of our pro servers Martin and Chuey and they steered us to great wine pairings and made us feel like VIP regulars. We look forward to our next trip to Dallas and a chance to dine at Fearings again

We always have a great time and great food at Fearing's. From when you walk in the door till you walk out the door the experience is magnificent. We were hosting friends for a birthday party, and they love the place as much as we do. The entire wait staff is personable and eager to please (without being over the top). The food and drink were incredible. They've got a new menu and we sampled several items from that. As I said, the entire experience is GREAT.

Went to Fearing’s to celebrate my wife’s and my retirement and my anniversary. I think dinner ranked in my top five dinners of all time!! Yellow fin appetizer and buffalo and antelope for entrees. Amazing! And Paul the sommelier recommended a 1961 (not a typo!) Spanish Rioja that was the best wine I’ve ever had! (My wife and I were both born in 1961, so it seemed appropriate!) If I’m ever back in Dallas, you can bet I’ll be back at Fearing’s!!!

The steak was delicious! We had a birthday in our party and we got so many complimentary dessert bites for everyone (all so good) and a free mini bday cake. The entire place was elegant, our waiter was the best and everything was delicious.

Everything was pleasantly exquisite. Getting here and the option to valet was very easy. By setting reservations I was seated immediately. The waiter and wait staff were always making sure everyone had what they needed. The food came out in a timely manner. The buffalo tenderloin was mouth watering delicious and melted in your mouth. The wagyu New York strip was also very scrumptious. The side of Mac n Cheese was phenomenal and the noodles were were perfect in size and texture. Didn’t have time for dessert but the options available sounded great.

One of my favorite restaurants in Dallas, so when I took out of town guests for dinner, I was really embarrassed by having to send my steak back 2 times to get medium rare. And it took 15 minutes the first time and 20 the second. The staff tried hard to make up for it with manager apologies and free drinks and desserts, so overall not a disaster but still disappointing, esp the delays on correcting wrong food. That should be a kitchen priority and come out faster than ordinary meals.

For a Wednesday night in Dallas, the restaurant was dead. I counted 5 tables occupied, including mine. The appetizers were average, including the lobster taco--a signature dish. Although the menu seemed as unique as usual, the actual plated foods were simply average. This is not the Fearings of old. The tab was steep, and I do not mind paying dearly for good food. However, this food was underwhelming. I could have done much better at other local restaurants that are staples in Dallas too. I think Fearings has been left behind in the Dallas restaurant world and sadly has become just a hotel restaurant.

Visited for my wife’s birthday. We had two appetizers that were mediocre at best. My wife had the halibut and I had the lamb. Halibut was good but the myriad of veggies and the sauce were mismatched and odd in taste. The lamb was cooked well but was salty. For desert the crime brûlée was great but the chocolate cake was horrible. Not edible. Took it home and it was covered in mold by morning. My wife and I both also got badly stomach sick - called the restaurant - we expect better from a $345 meal- manager never called back. Very disappointed - truly expected a different culinary experience.

We have had the opportunity to enjoy Fearing’s multiple times and it’s always a hit. Delicious cocktails kicked off the meal followed by a stunning buffalo loin entree and wrapped with the cherry pie. The table also had the scallops, halibut and a couple of other desserts and no one was disappointed. We will be back.

The menu was not as extensive as I recalled from the past. For instance, I didn’t see the duck on the menu. I had intended to order it. I did enjoy the scallops I ordered, however. Our waiter was, for the most part, very attentive and helpful until the end of our meal when we were discussing whether we would order dessert. We didn’t get dessert menus for quite some time-not a huge issue but we ended up staying longer than we anticipated.

Dinner, ambience and service was absolutely amazing! The complimentary halibut balls were delicious followed by our starter oysters, and lobster bisque and then our main entree. Everything that was placed on the table was superb. Our servers Justin and Mark was on point the entire evening. They ensured to exceed our expectations and they did just that!

We had a date night at the famous Fearings. All was good except for our waiter. He did not seem interested in being there and was not friendly. We ordered an app, split a salad and entrees. The waiter forgot our salad. When we got the bill, he charged us twice for a $170 bottle of wine. When I pointed this out, he seemed to know that he charged me twice and took the bill back and took one bottle off. No apologies. My wife and I felt that he was trying to charge us for this bottle on purpose and we would not notice. Not the experience we were looking for at the Ritz and will not go back to Fearings.

Coming to dine at the Fearing’s for lunch was a wonderful experience. I enjoyed the experience from start to finish. Alicia, our server, provided us with excellent service and making sure everything was perfect. The host, Veronica, asked us for allergies at the entrance which is atypical but very important because I always forget to let the server know about my peanut allergy! My SO and I came from San Diego and are both industry so we truly appreciate great service from start to finish. I had the signature Old Fashion (I forgot the name) but it was absolutely wonderful, and the cube was as clear as day. My SO had Jason’s Mojito and it was blueberry flavored and typically she only enjoys one type of cocktail but she finished it with a smile! To start the lunch off we were surprised with bread and butter. The bread and butter was absolutely phenomenal, 3 different types of bread and they were all very tasty, 10/10. For the appetizer we had the crab dip, honestly I would rate it a 7/10 but the bread that accompanied it was very good. For my entree, I ordered the halibut, very tasty not too fishy, and I enjoyed it very much. They smeared the plate with specific sauces that complimented the snap peas as well as the fish. Alicia recommended a wine to pair and it paired very well. My SO had the Wagyu empanadas. Being from San Diego and having all types of empanadas, we were a little conflicted with it, as the empanadas were flaky when we enjoy it a little less flaky. Still very good but not my favorite. 7/10. The lunch ended with the banana pudding, and I have to say it was the best banana pudding I have tried in my life. A burst of flavor and the beignets that came with it were very very very good. Overall my experience was a 9/10, service really matters to me in a fine dining experience and Alicia really outdid herself!! Thank you so much for the good food, service, and ambience. Will definitely be coming back for dinner.

A meal at Fearing's is always a treat. We live nearby and try to visit every month or two. The food is imaginative and impeccably prepared, the wine list is excellent, and Paul, the wine director, always suggests interesting wines that are both delicious and a good value.

Great High-End experience in uptown Dallas. My wife and I had steak entries me the ribeye MR and her the filet MW) and both were done the way we like them and very flavorful! Service was impeccable.
