Mignonette is Miami's favorite Oyster Bar -- brought to you by Chef Daniel Serfer and Ryan Roman. Named one of the 50 Best Seafood Restaurants in the Country [by Tasting Table], Mignonette features superior selections of Oysters (flown in daily), Seafood, Prime Meats and Veggies. Chef Daniel Serfer, a Miami native, opened his first restaurant, Blue Collar, in January 2012. Frequented by locals and visitors alike, Blue Collar offers American comfort food in a casual setting. Drawing on the success of Blue Collar, Mignonette provides a fun environment where patrons can enjoy a dozen oysters, a bottle of champagne, classic seafood preparations like Oysters Rockefeller and Clams Casino, and a Fancy shellfish tower. Mignonette is one of those rare Miami gems that has maintained its excellence in food and service over the years. We love its cozy, unpretentious feel which reminds us of trendy, low key restaurants in NYC. Everything about the meal is an experience to be savored- from the appetizers to the dessert, it’s all a feast for the eyes as well as the tastebuds. We need to go more often!

Entrance to restaurant was sketchy, but once inside the wait staff was super accommodating and the food was incredible. So sorry we live in Texas and can’t frequent this place more often!!

Absolutely delicious food from start to finish. A must visit location in Miami if you are fond of all things seafood! You MUST start with a dozen (or two...) of their Prince Edward oysters... You'll be thanking me. Followed by, honestly, everything else. One must also get multiple orders of the snow peas and creamy polenta!!

Beautifully quaint restaurant. Wonderful, kind, service. The food was AMAZING. We got the lobster roll and scallops. Days later we’re talking about how lovely of a time we had. Highly recommend!

The crudo appetizer was delicious. The lobster roll entree was not- the lobster meat had obviously been frozen and was dry and tasteless. The sides were very good. I would return but question the server about which fish or seafood was fresh and what was not.

A very mediocre experience. Given the reviews, I was expecting delicious food and attentive service. I received neither. First, they were out of a number of things on the menu. Now, I understand running out of one or two items on occasion, but I was presented with an entire litany of things they didn't have. The excuse? The previous day had been Mothers' Day. In other words, a planned high-traffic day that you ~could~ have prepared for. I could have gotten past the limited menu if the food had actually been good or the service had been attentive and helpful. Sadly this was not the case. The food was rather pedestrian, and as for the service, when I asked for a taste of one of the wines to see if I would like it, I practically received an eye roll, and then when I - politely - indicated that it wasn't to my taste and ordered another (more expensive) glass the server appeared to be personally insulted. I was basically ignored the rest of the evening, given only the most rudimentary service while he fawned incessantly over the table next to me. Miami is an amazingly culturally diverse city, and I have been been fortunate to enjoy many amazing meals in this culinary wonderland. Sadly, this was not one of them. I have no plans to return.

We LOVE Mignonette. It never disappoints. The ONLY thing I noticed this time was that the rice that came with the red fish seemed to have been done before and didn't taste fresh. The fish was excellent and so was the service. The restaurant doesn't have all the glitz and glamour in comparison to many other trendy restaurants, but that is exactly why we love it. The service and the food there is WAY better than any of these other trendy spots. Hope it remains that way. :)
