   It's unfortunate that you cannot accommodate food allergies, especially with advanced notice. Egg salad sandwiches touched the majority of the others. desert was unimpressive. Fortunately dinners are outstanding. Service was excellent.

   Worth the visit for a nice, elegant evening and dinner. Piano player was an excellent added attraction. Was a birthday occasion, and the restaurant made us feel welcome and special. Waitresses are knowledgeable about the history of the Whitney. Also, enjoyed the ghost bar. Will definitely return.

   We went there for my husband and daughter’s birthday there was 7 of us. When I arrived the gentleman at the door pointed to the table and said you’re going to be right there, he never sat us or anything to say the least I was confused so I asked him do we just seat or is the table not ready??? He just said yeah it’s ready and walked away. The tables they put together weren’t level and one of the water glasses fell over and broke. After dinner we went on the tour which was nice it took maybe 20 minutes the server was rushing us to pay the bill (the whole dinner felt very rushed). We wanted separate bills was never told we couldn’t have separate bills so it took us a minute to figure it all out as she walked away we could hear her complaint loudly about us. Which I felt was very disrespectful especially after we just spent $900 there which $150 was her tip for 1 1/2 hours of work.

    The experience was perfect! We were greeted so pleasantly by valet and the host upon entering the restaurant. The ambiance and decor was gorgeous. A massive lit fireplace in the lobby and a pianist set the tone with music. Our waitress was very knowledgeable of the mansion and dishes served. Our 3-course dinner food items came out promptly and we also took a tour of the Whitney mansion with a tour guide following dinner.

    The food was good, which should be expected at that price point. It wasn’t consistently excellent. I loved my salmon; it was cooked perfectly with a crisp outside and melt-in-your mouth center, but the kale/lentil mix it sat on was bland. I’m a fan of both kale and lentils, so I was poised to like. Our server was competent and friendly, but the guy in the tux, who kept circling back asking if things were ‘wonderful’ or ‘perfect’ was a bit cloying.

    I made a reservation for the Afternoon Tea for my birthday and it was an amazing experience. The live pianist played all Disney hits, the tea and treats were great, the servers were so kind, and they even surprised me with a special birthday sorbet and song - I nearly cried it was so sweet. Thank you so much. Definitely coming back soon

    Amazing food and service in the dinning room. After our dinner we joined the Happy Hour upstairs on the 3rd floor. Wish the bar tender informed me the Prosecco I ordered for my daughter and I was not included in the Happy Hour deal. I thought white wine was included. I realize it’s not his job but full disclosure goes a long way with customers.

    Really nice experience. Had a drink at the ghost bar when we came in for our reservation. Enjoyed seeing the mansion and the piano player was amazing! Sea bass and beef welling were delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. So glad I got to come here for my birthday.

    our waitress, Asia was top notch. knowledgeable, polite, and went out of her way to accommodate us. Food, as always, was top notch. While its a bit o the pricey side, the combination of service, stories, ambiance and the food quality make it completely worth it and an excellent value!!

    The perfect evening began with a hearty welcome from manager Danny. We were here for the "relaunch" of the Wednesday prime rib dinners, and we were not disappointed. Spot-on and friendly service by Kayleigh was the perfect accompaniment to perfectly prepared prime ribs. They were cooked as ordered and the au jus (unlike most establishments) was flavorful without being overpowering. Meal presentation was everything you would expect at the Whitney. A trip to the Ghost Bar after dinner completed a wonderful evening. Service by Jordon is always exceptional, and you won't find a more friendly bartender anywhere. Conversation with manager Sally topped off this perfect evening at this warm and welcoming establishment. And, as usual, valet Devon had our car at the ready as we left. Can't wait for our next visit.

    Ghost Bar and the 3rd Floor! Amazing! I felt that I had stepped through time while walking upstairs gazing through the now golden lit stained glass windows. I thought of how many people have taken these steps and gazed with delight on the artistic wonder of the stained glass. The smells of the kitchen and the sounds of someone tickling the ivory on a grand piano was all I needed to be entranced by the 3rd Floor. We drank a wonderful port and dined on exquisite appetizers that would spring anyone's taste buds to attention while leaving us wanting more. And more, we did have. A scrumptious lobster bisque for me and a grilled Caesar salad for my love. We both finished our dining experience with the most mouth watering prime rib entrees. I dream of our next adventure with the grand Whitney and all its love of history, art and dining.

    Amazing atmosphere only topped by the even more impressive staff. Each attentive and skilled at their jobs. Made our visit feel like we were visiting a friend.     Our service was AMAZING. We had Keitha ( Keisha?) as our server and she was just delightful. We took the tour after dinner with Deb and thouroughly e joyed it. The food was amazing. Pam came over and shared some haunting stories with us.

    We want to tea and while restaurant is beautiful inside and has perfect ambiance the service was very very slow and the food not up to Whitney standards. Disappointing

    The Whitney was a wonderful place to have a little tea party with my friends! The wait staff was so kind and attentive. We enjoyed hearing history and facts about the Whitney from them. The food was delicious. The tea was phenomenal! After we were finished we got to explore the upper two levels. I would highly recommend getting all your girlfriends together for a tea party at The Whitney!

    Dining at The Whitney was absolutely Iconic. Travelled from Canada to celebrate my Daughters Birthday and the Manager Tony went above and beyond to ensure a Top Notch dining experience.     Never been to the whitney but it was in a 1890s mansion and it was a great experience, great food and a nice romantic date night for my wife and I

    Staff tried hard to give good service, but there was a long delay from the kitchen for our entrees, even though they knew we had to go to an event with a deadline. Also, the pianist was not playing background music, he was trying to be a performer with a loud repertoire which caused everyone to speak over it with an overall high noise level.

    Our first experience for afternoon tea at the Whitney did not disappoint. Beautiful atmosphere, great food and outstanding service from valet to waitstaff. The team went above and beyond for a member of our party who had dietary restrictions. Highly recommend.

    I spent a wonderful evening with my fiancé at The Whitney. The food was amazing, the service was great as well. They had live piano playing which was lovely to listen to with dinner. And they also have free tours of the house with a bit of historic explanations that we attended after dinner. Perfect date night.

    We celebrated our anniversary there and the experience was incredible! Beautiful atmosphere, amazing food and excellent service! Tim waited on us and he made the evening that much more memorable by being so attentive and kind. Would definitely recommend for any special occasion :)
