Great Food. Neighborhood find.
The food and friendly staff were as excellent as always.
We love this place. The food is fresh and fun to explore. Unique preparations. Nice wine choices.
Too expensive for the quality of food. Great ambience, but disappointed in the average food for above average prices.
Creative seasonal menu with wonderful food and service. Highly recommend!
We love this place. Food is creative and always delicious. I have not had a single bad item. The service was wonderful. They are so knwledgable and really know the menu and the choices. Moreover I love that we can bring our own wine.
The exterior of Trio might not appear impressive but the food and service certainly are. This is one of my neighborhood favorites. We took a friend for her birthday, and it was her first time there. It was a Friday evening at about 6:30. The restaurant was actually quiet for a Friday.
I had brought 2 bottles of wine for the evening. They do have a nice wine list and if you bring your own they charge $15 for a corking fee.
We started with the Artisan cheese display. It had 3 cheeses, a little meat, house made spiced nuts (very good), some watermelon and kimchi slices (my favorite) and nice presentation.
We all shared the spinach apple salad with the warm bacon vinaigrette dressing and ordered 2 of the Bourbon Street shrimp & grits. (very flavorful and perfect grits).
We ended a perfect evening with the pumpkin spiced bread pudding to share and it was incredible :)
Excellent food and service. Best rack of lamb I have had in years! On your next visit, you must order the cheese board appetizer - tasty and fun selections. Creative choices with MODERATE price. Good selection of wines. Definitely now on the list of our FAVORITE restaurants.
Love to go to Trio!!!
Food was excellent with some unique flavor combinations. The best rack of lamb we ever tasted and we have eaten that dish from New Zealand to South America to Europe.
This restaurant may be small but the chef is amazing!
Service was great and we enjoyed new items on their menu. Truly a neighborhood gem.
Great food as usual with interesting dishes. This is a quiet place very good for lunch or dinner.
Wonderful wine list, delicious food, excellent service and personal visit from Chef.
Great staff. Great chef.
Best fish dish specials in the metroplex! Jason the chef is incredible with his selection of fish and preparation. There are other excellent dishes as well, I go primarily for his fish.
Trio never disappoints. Our favorite for quiet conversation, delicious flavors, and wonderful service. We had the barramundi and scallops. The crust on the blackened fish was the best I’ve ever tasted. The scallops tender and flavorful. Our usual salad perfect. And the sides are always my favorite. Beets and sweet potato purée was unexpectedly the best thing I’ve ever tasted. Cheese grits will bring us back for more.
Trio recommended by family who dine regularly.
From host greeting to bill close out, service, food and owner-chef, Jason’s greeting were fiat-rate.
Table of 5 shared a cheese board, followed by a variety of “between the bread” and house main favorites.
Long period of silence while we concentrated on the shrimp po-boy, oaxacan burger, rack of lamb & diver scallops.
Beet & potatoes purée, lemonie grits and more...
Appreciated Jason’s courtesy stop promoting Restaurant Week and Trio’s efforts to decrease hunger in Venezuela.
Always a great meal and excellent service!
We ate there to check out the burger battle. 3 of us were eating and we each had a different burger. All of them were wonderful and cooked to our preferred temperatures. One diner was on a special diet and made several requests. Each request was honored and we all enjoyed our meal thoroughly.
This is a great place to enjoy the special bottle of wine in your collection with a well prepared menu that is fresh and unique.
Excellent food and service
The food is good! Very creative and smart! But the veggies my wife got were not very fresh. So that’s a minus.
I've been wanting to try this place for a long time. My biggest disappointment is that the food just wasn't as flavorful as I would have expected. I live in North Arlington and it is a very long drive there. For what you pay, the food should be outstanding. The staff was very attentive. The Ambiance was so so for the price of the food. It could be a little warmer to convey a welcoming environment.
This place is my favorite! Chef Jason always comes to talk to us. It is an intimate place ans the food is amazing every aingle time! You cant’t get better than Trio! Top Notch in every way!
Lunch is the best, but lately we have been dining at night here. AMAZING! Could eat here all the time, menu changes, wines are to die for!
Always always a wonderful experience! Jason is a genius with food and we love how close it is to our home!
Excellent chef owned restaurant. . Special seasonal farm to table menu that taste incredible. Attention to detail
And special flavors. Do not let the smaller menu discourage you. There are excellent options and the special offer even more unique dishes. Try the banana cream pie. Great wine but they also allow you to bring wine for a corkage fee. A hidden jewel in this part of town for sure.
Great food and service
Always a great meal. Chef is creative and attentive to those with special requests. The staff is perfectly awesome.
Never disappointed and always enjoyable. Creative flavors in a friendly, comfortable setting. One of our favorite places to meet friends and bring out of town guests.
Seasonal menus keep the food experience fresh and interesting. Owner/chef does what it takes to make you happy.
Whenever I am meeting up with a friend in the Colleyville area this is my favorite place to dine.
The food is so delicious and the presentation is beautiful!!!
Trio is a not so much hidden gem anymore. It is always a great experience and we have dinner there 1 to 2 times a month. The rack of lamb is exceptional and is a must have. The coconut cream pie is perfection. I have tried almost everything on their changing menu and never had a bad meal. Highly recommended.
Had the ocean trout and seasonal seafood special (red fish). Both delicious. The menu is in transition to the Summer. Jason came around and let us try the snitzel which will be on the Summer menu - excellent - we will order next time.
Our favorite restaurant in the DFW Area!!
Love the food & the variety!!
My favorite restaurant!
Incredibly good, as always! My husband and I have been several times alone, and our teenagers wanted to know what all the fuss was about--so we brought them along. And they were glad we did! I had the special --Tex-Asian brisket--very tender and flavorful. Kids both had the grown-up grilled cheese--amazing as always. Appetizer was a combo of fried okra, Boudin balls and peppadew--even the kids loved it. See you next time!
We come to Trio often and Each visit is exciting and makes us fall in love with this local gem more and more. The creative seasonal menu is always delicious and unique. Jason is a master of making distinctive plates and making everyone feel at home. We love the ability to bring our own wine. This is now our favorite restaurant.
We had a wonderful anniversary dinner! Amazing food and service!!! We will be back.
Trio has the most interesting food. It is always very, very good. Highly recommend. Everything is fresh excellent service.
