   The service was soooo slow, our waiter was watching tv instead of tending to us. we were sat in the bar area which was SO LOUD!! my husband ordered a 100 dry aged steak that was dry, he didn’t eat it. My ribeye was good also 100, not sure it was worth the price tag. The oysters were good, the drinks were good, mac and cheese was good just needed salt & the hash browns were decent. We visited rpm about 5 years ago and it was amazing, I see a lot has changed. For. 500 bill I expect more. I’m surprised my husband left a 45 tip, the service was worth MAYBE 10-15

   We were a little disappointed, for weeks we requested Anna as our server On arrival they informed us she was off. If we were informed we would have definitely made a reservation when she was working . She’s amazing our waiter Max was good. cost of dinning at RPM is expensive and would like to have what we request. Thank you

   Our server was good enjoyed him. The food that was so good. But the Brussels sprouts were soooo salty. It was just pure salted dry leaves. That sucked then the bus man threw some of my food away that was so be packed. Nonetheless less I loved it there and would go back.

   Absolutely spectacular. Food was delicious, and the waiter was absolutely helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. He was also a great host for our table. Well recommended, and would definitely go there again.

   Ambiance was nice. Service was great. I was celebrating my daughter's 18th birthday. We all enjoyed our meals. That bacon on the appetizer menu is to die for, it just melts in your mouth. The mac n cheese was delicious. I will definitely be back.

    This is my third time going to RPM Steak and it did not disappoint. We were there to celebrate a special birthday and it was lovely. They immediately greeted us at the door with Happy Birthday, promptly seated us at a booth (which I had requested), and everything hummed along like a perfectly well oiled machine from then on. The food (hamachi, oysters, and kale salad as apps, filets, broccolini, and hasselback potato as mains, and gold chocolate cake w birthday candle and cotton candy with a happy birthday sign as desserts) were incredibly delicious. Service was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. Cocktails were perfect (dirty martinis and gin and tonics). We'll absolutely be back because RPM is just consistently top notch for food and service. Extra bonus points for so many service staff wishing my friend a happy birthday - lovely, lovely touches to make a diner feel special. Thanks!!

    the server was good. However, the support team did not realized that we served food without plates or silverware and had to flag the waiter to received them. The steak were not cooked properly and tough. I would expect for a $500 dinner for three the steak would be cooked properly and basic service to there. Will choose a different steak house next time.

    Table of 4 our waiter forgot part of the order. Requested ceaser salad after appetizers. It never arrived. Ordered bone-in Ny Strip got a Delmonico. Waiter said he was having the correct steak made comes back ten minutes later asking if we were going to eat the delmonico to wich we answered. “you said it was ordered”. arrived after the party had finished eating. First time having this happen at RPM. usually always on point across the board.

    First time dining at RPM Steak…We felt immediately at ease welcomed by the smiling hosts and cool calm atmosphere. Our server Matt was friendly with an outstanding knowledge of the menu cocktails and wine. Our shared apps and dinner choices were ALL delicious, beautifully plated and very satisfying! As we celebrated birthdays tonight, Matt and all the staff made us all feel super special and dessert we amazing! Creme brûlée not to be missed …vanilla donuts too! We will definitely return.

    I was not impressed at all with RPM Steak. We ordered two bone-in ribeyes, the Parker house rolls, the millionaire potato, and an order of fries for my 2 year old. The fries and rolls took a long time to come out. My husband’s medium well steak came out medium rare. They took his steak back when we showed the blood running out of it, charred the outside of the steak a lot, then asked him to cut it in front of them as they walked away. They still never cooked it to his desired internal temperature. Also, we were seated upstairs because it was Mother’s Day and crowded but upstairs does not really look like an upscale restaurant at all. The steak and the service fell very short of other steakhouses in Chicago. Our server would leave for very long periods of time and although we were seated first, the table next to us with a different server got their food and way better service (their food had to be sent back also for not being properly prepared). I also noticed something else about their service. Although it was 50 degrees and raining outside, the AC was blowing extremely hard…so hard that the server lit the candle on our table twice and it kept blowing out because the AC was blowing so hard. When I asked the server if he could turn it down, he told me he would but he didn’t. The people sitting in the table next to us had the same complaint and asked the same server if he could turn the AC down, he let them know it would be turned down immediately and then a manager came to check to see how they liked the temperature once it was off. I had definitely asked for the same thing very nicely and my request was completely ignored. I thought the Parker house rolls were good, the steak lacked flavor (you have to use the seasoning they bring to the table) and the service was subpar. I really left just feeling like the next time I want a great bone-in ribeye, I will just go to Mastro’s. The steak and service as Mastro’s is much better.

    Great date night spot. We had the octopus and wedge salad as an appetizer. Both were spectacular. The octopus was cooked perfectly. The thick cut bacon on the wedge salad was unreal. We ordered the tomahawk as our main. Cooked just to our liking, perfect char, and so tender. We had the brussel sprouts as a side, which had great flavor but it was all leaves. There were no full brussel sprouts at all. Felt like eating air. We had the baked Alaskan for dessert. What a show! And so so delicious. Perfect ending to the meal. All in all, great meal!     Unreal restaurant with top notch service. Steak recommendations from Chad were very helpful and on point. Definitely recommend steak lovers to check this place out. Only one small critique, the lighting is Dim so it’s difficult to read the menus and see your food.

    The hostess, seating, and dining experience was great. The bar experience was really not good. The lady who waited on us didn’t really greet us and simply threw the check on the bar. That experience was bad. All and all I would return for food but never the bar.

    Food and service were excellent, no doubt about it. It is a pricey dinner, but it is worth it. However it is really loud in there. Music was cranked up so we could sometimes barely hear each other, so take that into consideration when choosing RPM Steak.

    RPM Steak is the best restaurant in Chicago. It’s my favorite restaurant and it’s not even close compared to some of the other bigger names. Every time I go there the service, food, and ambiance can’t be beat.
