Designed from the ground up, The V!G Dana Park features a custom-built ranch house-inspired interior that flows seamlessly into a spacious, lush patio area framed by trellises and shaded by mature trees, a true Arizona-style front porch where guests can eat, sip, and linger in comfort.

Occupying nearly half the restaurant’s footprint, the 2,500-square-foot patio offers seating for up to 90 guests under a sun-filtering trellis surrounded by verdant greenery and potted plants.
Inside, guests will find signature VIG design elements including a striking copper-topped bar with cozy banquette seating, a flexible dining room that doubles as a private event space, “Mesa Modern” interiors with carbon gray tiles, old west-style leather booths, and copper accents, thoughtful lighting that transitions from bright daytime ambiance to intimate nighttime vibes using floor lamps and table spotlights, and custom artwork paying tribute to Mesa’s rich agricultural and ranching roots

The place is very new, and we should have given them a few more weeks to work out the kinks. We went to the bar area around 6:00 and had great service. Many people were there for the happy hour, which seemed like a good deal. Our reservation was for 6:45, and we ended up asking them to make our food to go, as we had to be somewhere by 8:30. The kitchen was way behind on the food orders and the gal came around to our table to see how our service was. She ended up comping our food, which we were very appreciative. In the future, I think we’ll come back just for the happy hour!

I was expecting much better food after all the hype for this restaurant. I ordered the chicken chopped salad. I thought it would be chopped lettuce. It was nearly all romaine, a small chicken breast I had to cut, 4 tiny squares of avacado and barely anything else that is was supposed to be mixed with. The side of dressing is very small. Although the dressing was good. Not worth almost $20. The steak frites for nearly $30 were good, but the steak portion was small and came with a pound of fries to take up the rest of the room on the plate. The service was good, as well as the restaurant itself. I will go back and try the burger and the chicken pesto pasta. The menu is underwhelming for all the hype.

We went on the 2nd night they were open and the service was still really good even with a packed house. The food was great and served quickly.

The food is high quality and delicious. The pesto pasta was so good my teenager finished his plate. The atmosphere was fantastic and the vibe very mellow. Overall an amazing restaurant.

We were honored to attend the friends and family night of the opening of The Vig. The food was amazing and the drinks were perfect! We had a wonderful server who was attentive but not over the top. Everyone was friendly and had great attitudes. I cannot wait to make this our Friday night spot!
