   First time at this restaurant. Everyone was so nice and attentive. The food was really good and I would come again. BTW the drinks were great. Went with 7 people and they agreed with me.

   The margaritas were amazing!!! Our favourite was the watermelon hands down! The portion sizes were perfect and the service was amazing! We enjoyed a full 3 course dinner within an hour and a half which left plenty of time to arrive to our broadway show with time to spare! This restaurant is on repeat every time we are in NYC.

   Toloache was amazing! We were happy we made a reservation to get a spot for lunch on the weekend. The ambiance has a very cool vibe and the food was SO good. Their fresh chips, guacamole, and house salsa was the best we’ve come across in a Mexican restaurant. We tried two different types of tacos and both were unique and absolutely delicious. If you’re ever in the Theater District or near Time Square, plan to have a bite here!

   There is no option for a review when a restaurant fails to seat you in an timely fashion. We had a 6:15 reservation for a Saturday evening, booked so that we could enjoy a meal and then see a show. When we arrived at 6PM to check in we were told that they might be able to seat us at 6:20. We waited, along with others in the same situation, but staff was not able to give us a more certain update along the way. We gave up and went across the street to another restaurant for our dinner. It appears that even though we did not eat at Toloache, OpenTable recognized our reservation because we had been checked in. BTW- There is no way to cancel an OpenTable reservation on line once the appointed time has passed. We will probably try Toloache again but not on a Saturday night.

   Our server Andrea was great. The food was excellent! The trio guacamole was amazing! Tables a little too close but I guess that’s New York. We had to wait a bit past our reservation time but at the end of the night it was worth it. Would highly recommend!

    Despite acknowledging our reservation, the restaurant was unable To seat us at a table because they claimed opentable had overbooked. Very annoying and frustrating since this reservation was made weeks in advance.

    We had the truffle cod (bacalao trufado) & the camarones toloache. Both were excellent. The shimeji mushrooms added a nice balance to the miso-tequila glaze on the cod. We finished with the tres leches cake and espresso. The service was swift & friendly. Highly recommended.

    Even though I made a mistake with the date of my dinner reservation and the restaurant was at full capacity, the hosts quickly and without any hesitation accommodated my request. As if the superb customer service wasn’t enough, the food and drinks were delicious and delivered by a very friendly staff. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for an all around high-end dining experience without the high price tag.

    The food was amazing. We came for Sunday afternoon meal before our show. We didn't realize you are only offered the BRUNCH menu on Sunday afternoon around 1pm. We would have preferred the standard menu (with more options). However, the brunch food was good. The Brussel sprouts were out of this world. I would go again to eat off of the regular menu items.

    Great experience. Our food was outstanding. Fresh guacamole and sangria was delicious! My fish tacos were light and amazing. Our Waitress was lovely and the manager /owner? , Jorge, was so engaging and welcoming coming in and leaving . Can’t wait to go back .

    Great restaurant, incredible location for before or after theater, and wonderful staff. We reserved for two and then unexpectedly became three, and then four. They graciously handled the change. The salsa and chips were great, and the addition of the frutas guacamole was excellent. It turned out to be a great place to gather for lunch for great food and great conversation.

    Ambiance was lovely. Food and margaritas were delicious! Especially the hibiscus blueberry margarita! Restaurant was made aware ahead of time about gluten allergies and the staff were prepared to guide us through the menu.

    First visit to this lovely restaurant. Had lunch here before attending a show. Ordered the queso fundido as an appetizer which was very tasty. All the other tables had their guacamole so I guess that is a favorite dish. We also ordered the birria tacos and the arroz con mariscos. Everything was delicious. Had the flan for dessert which was very delicious. Will plan another visit and highly recommend it to other diners.
