One of our favorite local gems. Especially appreciate they are dog embracing not just friendly, staff are wonderful, and the food is sublime. Had a perfect birthday lunch for a friend. And happy hour all day Monday! Go!

First time to the Patio on Goldfinch. Nice environment and decor. Found service a little slow and they serve tepid water. I am not sure if I would go back. The food was good but not really good. Seems like they could try a little harder in my mind.

Was at The Patio for a Saturday brunch. Had a turkey burger which was excellent and the fries were perfect -- crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside and they stayed that way. I even at some leftover cold ones in the car on the way home and they were still surprisingly good!

This was our second visit. The food is really very good and the atmosphere is very nice this particular visit the service was a bit slow and with that we would still return

Saturday brunch: Great ambiance. The indoor planters give an almost tropical feel. Excellent, helpful, very likeable servers. Perfect timing of service and entrees we would all order again. Overall, the best part of our weekend.

It took a long time for our food to arrive. My French fries were cold and my food warm but not super hot and it tasted just ok. I have had dinner here before and the food was much better. Our server was very pleasant.

We came specifically to use our Passport Dining card, ordered two meals from the same section, and the server told us we could not use it because my date's entree didn't qualify. Not happy and a bit embarrassing.

Had a great time. Reunion of old college friends and all were impressed with the food and the value. Also, we were able to sit and have long conversation without too much ambient noise and without being hurried. Very pleasant experience.

Vegetarian Omelet was not good, very bland and the eggs were rubbery. Waiter kept us waiting quite awhile to order. Waiter was a bit arrogant and standoffish. Not the best day at the Patio, we have had better.

The service was horrible. We waited 15 mins past our reservation in a half empty restaurant and we sat for almost 30 mins without a server coming to greet us and just over 1 hour past seating to receive our food. The food was good when we got it but I would not go back.

Our server was the best. The place is very nice it has a patio style just as the name says. Even tough that night was very cold, inside the patio was a great tempature. The food was excellent. The chef cheese board, does come with a very limited amount of pieces of cheese. The octopus is to die for. They we out of the tuna tacos. Which was weird because it was early on a Friday. Very nice place.

Birthday lunch with my daughter. I’ve eaten here many times before. Always a great go to with such a variety of food on the menu. My daughter had to chopped Salad with steak. We also had fried Green tomatoes as an appetizer and they were cooked to perfection. I had the Ruben flat bread which was so unusual but excellent in every way.

The food was sub par which is not usual for this place-did something happen with the chef and that’s why they were closed for a month? My octopus was tough and chewy, the meat on my mom’s beef and blue flatbread was tough and flavorless, my dad’s trout was average and my cousins pork shank was fatty. Thank goodness it was half off bottles of wine that night-only good thing. If I ever go again maybe I should stick with salad-cheaper and and can’t mess it up that bad! Even my birthday dessert was pathetic! A little brownie that wasn’t great either:( Very disappointing all around.

We enjoyed a relaxed brunch in an outdoor room on a sunny Saturday morning. Lighthearted atmosphere accompanied our generous serving of various egg dishes from the menu. We enjoyed a small charcuterie for starter with Bloody Marys. In retrospect, should have had the bacon-infused Bloody Mary like my hubby — few bucks more but we’ll worth it. We’ll be back!

We sat in a booth and the hard benches were a problem for us....very uncomfortable....but everything else was great, especially the service. It was extraordinary. We left a heavy tip( in our opinion). Thx so much

Great place and a super charming patio. Parking can be a challenge and the servers aren't always terribly attentive. I had the beet salad with salmon which was outstanding.

We were visiting San Diego from Boston—— Mission Hills is a lovely neighborhood with a number of interesting eating spots. Patio is casual, seems to have some regular clientele, and some unusual menu items. Fireplace on a chilly night drew us in! Chad was our server—attentive with a good sense of humor! Worth a visit‼️
