Charity was very helpful in making recommendations for a great meal. We had the burrata + leak, orecchiette with sausage, halibut and gelato pie. The orecchiette and halibut were outstanding.

It’s always a privilege to have a meal at Osteria Mozza. The restaurant is so beautiful and welcoming. The staff couldn’t be more attentive. And the food is always outstanding. For me, it’s home.

Reservation time was bumped by hostess due to lack of available tables during original reservation time. 1/3 of the menu was sold out. Came at 7:30p on a Sun so avoid that timeframe I guess.

I live in the neighborhood, so I often eat at the bar, but last night was date night. The oricchiette and garganelli were both luscious and savory. My tagliata was excellent and my bf’s pork shank was spectacular (and huge). We’ll have it for lunch today.

The food was excellent. The flavors and taste were exquisite. Service was outstanding and everyone treated us well. At first I though the portions were too small, but it actually worked out well. I didn’t go home too full, but I was craving more. All the dishes were perfect.

Sadly, awful experience all the way around on a night that should have been a special celebration. Service was not attentive, staff became more scarce and uncaring as the night progressed, food was disappointing, and the worst part: when we appropriately complained that one pasta dish was cold and another pasta dish was GROSSLY undercooked (pasta actually snapped in half), the manager over explained “that’s the way it’s supposed to be”. No apology or acknowledgement. We were talked to like first-time diners. Not sure if we’d ever go back…

Food was outstanding, everything we could have hoped for. Our server was terrible 2 times everyone at the table had completely empty drinks for over 15 mins before anyone noticed one of the times another noticed and helped. Honestly can’t believe how terrible the service was for a great restaurant. The table next to us had a different server and 10x better service.

Great food. This place never disappoints. They were busy and forgot to bring our coffee so we finished our dessert and waited another 10 mins and finally had to cancel the coffee, otherwise the service was good.

We had a wonderful dinner. The food was excellent, the service was excellent, the atmosphere of the restaurant was excellent - it was the perfect Friday evening dinner date. Thank you to the staff and kitchen for what was a wonderful evening.

We have eaten at Osteria Mozza numerous times. This is the first time I can say I was disappointed in my entrée. The lamb chops came to the table, cold and were very fatty. I had to send them back. They returned the same ones a little more well done so they were warm. But I make better lamb chops at home, and they’re in that everything was very good. Except the noise level was very high, and we could hardly hear ourselves speak. I would definitely go back, but I would never order the lamb chops again. Everybody else’s dishes were marvelous.

Service was great but by a person who wasn’t our server. Gabriel is a gem. Went above and beyond in suggesting and checking in. For a wine corkage of $50 it took a while to get the wine after requesting it. Food was exquisite as always

We were excited to try Osteria Mozza. We started with two items from the Mozzarella Bar menu. The Mozzarella di Bufala Condimenti with Fett’unta bread was fantastic! The Burricotta & Artichoke was enjoyable but not nearly as good. The Shaved Brussels Sprouts was a wonderful option to a salad. Our table shared three pastas - Gnocchi with duck ragù was the best of the three; Ricotta & Egg Raviolo and the Goat Cheese Ravioli were honestly underwhelming. Enjoyed a lovely glass of white Laura Achero Vermentino wine. Service was phenomenal. The front of the restaurant with the famous Mozzarella Bar was packed and very noisy. If you prefer a quieter environment in which you can actually hold a conversation, request a table in the last room of the restaurant. I would return and try some alternative dishes.

I was very excited to finally try this Michelin restaurant. The food and setting was great. However, the service was not first timer friendly. Anyone who is foreign or unfamiliar with Italian named dishes will feel overwhelmed ordering because the waiter won’t attempt to help or recommend (at least ours didn’t).

Gap between starters and mains was 20’. Pasta was too salty. $42 for pasta with cheese??? Not enough vegetarian options, too much meat everywhere, no vegetarian main course. Overall, underwhelming experience.

Food was delish, but they had so many offerings with tree nuts, particularly on the dessert menu where things couldn’t be substituted/taken off. I’m allergic so it just dampened the vibe that so much of the me it was off limits for me. But the stuff we had was great (octopus, brussles, parpadelle, halibut)!
