Everything about Big Rock was outstanding! The food was perfectly prepared and the presentation was beautiful. The staff were wonderful and attentive. The atmosphere was lively but quiet. It was a perfect evening!

Employees ALL getting their feet wet, new restaurant, soft opening etc. we understand BUT…… Entrees were served cold🥶 COLD STEAK 😡 Items that were originally ordered were not delivered to table, then when mis delivered items finally delivered, they were WRONG. Very expensive wine. Big bravado but NOT walking the talk! Need way more work & training of staff! Not worth the price even remotely 🥵 Positive note, the restoration of the interior was awesome! Definitely a place to check out 💯👍

World class dining comes to metro Detroit. Iconic historic train station beautifully appointed with spacious dining areas. Flawless service. I had a perfectly prepared veal chop, gnocchi, gelato. Drank too much. Enjoyed a wonderful cabrnet by chilani vineyards.

Beautiful remodel. Awesome food at a reasonable price. Plus you get to rub elbows with the likes of Tom Celani and Dario Bergamo. If you’re a cigar smoker in the Birmingham area, the cigar lounge membership is a must.

Our server Richard was awesome. Well trained, energetic, helpful with the menu, and a lot of fun. We really enjoyed our meal- we ordered several things for the table to split. The crudo was probably my favorite. The menu has more options than just steak: a number of nice small plates, salads, pastas, and other Italian favorites including Bronzino and Swordfish. The drink menu is curated, interesting, and delicious. We were also offered a wine recommendation to which was also great. The ambiance was surprisingly warm, sophisticated, with a few nods to the old train station. It was a little noisy in the restaurant, but it may have just been the excitement from opening night. Overall, we are thrilled Big Rock is open once again- refreshed - and ready to make new memories!

Big Rock was fantastic! From the moment we walked in we were greeted and treated with the best of the best! We’ll be back to enjoy the food and drink and service from the finest this area has. Job well done
