Located at the vibrant Scottsdale 101, Rodizio Grill of North Scottsdale will become a celebration destination and family favorite for residents and visitors alike. Rodizio Grill Brazilian steakhouse restaurant offers guests an authentic and abundant Brazilian dining experience, unlike any other. If you're a good old fashioned carnivore, Rodizio Grill is for you! You will get practically every type of meat, and as much as your heart desires, from rare to well done, as the waitstaff - known as gauchos - come around to your table with long skewers with various selections that are carved off, with the help of tongs placed at each table setting. These are served in fairly rapid order, as long as the cube on the table is turned to green; if you've had enough - or need a break - simply turn it to red. All four members of our party sampled all of the varieties offered and were pleased with the selections, including the grilled pineapple, although we had to ask to be served the ham twice as it had not been offered. I found some of the meat to be less tasty than others, and some a little more tough, and quite honestly preferred the extensive salad bar - which is an option for those vegetarian inclined. The ambiance is fairly basic, it reminded me of the old Sizzler Steakhouses I used to go to as a kid, but I suppose that's how the cost is kept down. Speaking of cost, the desserts- which looked delicious - run extra. I chose to end my meal with a selection of fruit from the salad bar; the melon was a bit hard but the strawberries were excellent.

As always we had a fantastic meal at Rodizio. My best advice is to go hungry because there are lots of options and you will want to try them all - some multiple times. The staff were all amazing and very attentive. Highly recommend.

We reserved this restaurant at the request of one of our guests. The restaurant took over a former chain eatery at this location off Mayo Blvd. in North Scottsdale and the facility looked refreshed [from what I understand as per host] but comparing to a similar chain of Brazilian steakhouse, Rodizio felt smaller and a bit less dressed up: though the core elements of the concept remain the same, i.e. a salad bar with processed meats, salads, an overtly greasy beef stroganoff, and other breads and cheese options [very similar to FdC] and a stoplight concept for their meat offerings. When it came to the customer experience, I would say this was one of their weak points [it could be the kinks of recently opening and perhaps needing more attention to training] and then the meat serving felt at times pressured/rushed and the meats were OK [at best] as I had a few overcooked pieces, and when I asked for medium, I got quasi raw state and was showered in grease [still need to get those stains out of my clothes]. Perhaps this could be a more budget friendly alternative for many or closer option than Fogo but in my opinion, Id opt for a different choice. The best part of their food offering was their pão de queijo [which the waiter had no clue what that was when I asked for them]. In any case, give them a chance as my experience could be just the kinks of an early start and not fully reflect what others expect and or desire out of a Brazilian churrasqueira.

This was our first and likely last visit to Rodizio’s. Although the salad bar portion of the meal was fine the main course meats were quite ordinary and not particularly impressive. The restaurant had very recently opened for business so the total absence of a significant number of customers may be due to its newness. Our table of 4 all felt the same as we discussed the dining experience after departing. We we most likely not return for a second visit.

Was very excited when this opened up right by my place. Comparing it to Fogo de Chao, it’s njght and day, and I would definitely spend the extra $10 to go to Fogo. The meats are just not as good. Some of it is the quality of the actual meat, some of it is preparation of the meat. A couple of the gauchos were not trained well at all, and it made for some not fun moments with getting the meat. The salad bar was also severely lacking compared to Fogo. The only saving grace was the service, but probably because it wasn’t full at all in the restaurant. Just a big letdown.

Absolutely fabulous salad bar was beautiful. Food was delicious. Service was great. There was nothing that wasn’t absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to go back.

Food was great, Service also. All had unique flavor and cooked to perfection. Great selection. Loved Honey ham, Sweet & Sour chicken & pineapple. Wife added as her top place and wants to check out lunch!!
