Really cool resturant. Great food and I love the family style. Som did a great job with the wine. The only down side was the waiter. He really was no help. Asked about what drink, he said they are all good. Asked about thoughts on food, said all food was good. Asked to see the Somm for thoughts on wine and I kid you not he said all wines are on the list. He really made a great meal just average.
Craft is my go-to restaurant when I am dining in the Century City/Westwood area. Outstanding food and service. Expensive, but worth every penny. If I bring you here, I'm trying to impress you.
Great new find.... very careful attention by servers.
Love love love this restaurant. They made my husband feel so special for his bday. Thank you !!
Wonderful restaurant. Every time it is perfect. The food wine and service are excellent. Not to be missed.
This is a very classy establishment with an equally classy clientele. The menu is exceptional and my single biggest like is the quietness in the restaurant which I attribute to the diners. The notion of "inside voice" is lost on so many places in LA but not here at Craft.
Decent place. Food was okay but VERY salty. Menu had everything from fish and oysters to meats, veggies, pastas, etc. but I couldn't tell you what they're known for. Would I go back? Maybe if a group I was with was going but not on my own.
food is always excellent and service!! prive as always good too.
We had dinner on Saturday, November 3 , with friends and all were disappointed with the food. It was salted heavily....the cauliflower was sickeningly sweet and all was an expensive disappointment. We ate dinner at Craft a couple of years ago and had good memories of that dinner but this was pretty awful. I wonder if the chef was absent on Saturday !!!
Perfection! Made the reservation 24 hours in advance. They called to confirm 5 minutes later and asked if we were celebrating something. It so happened we were. When we arrived we were treated like visiting royalty. Everyone wished us a happy anniversary. We were treated to an amuse bouche, excellent drinks, sublime food, a special dessert and extra treats. We were early to catch a show later but by the time we left the restaurant was full yet it was still nice and quiet. They were hosting a walk/run for leukemia on the patio but nothing interfered with our experience. This was by far the highlight of our whole trip.
Made a reservation at Craft for our anniversary - Craft took all the extra small steps to make us feel super valued on our special day.
1) Personalized menus
2) Multiple staff congratulating us on our anniversary
3) Complimentary celebratory dessert
On top of the excellent experience, the food was top notch (we had oysters to start, scallops/angus steak/hen of the woods). Overall, we were very pleased with our experience.
Went for a friends bday and had the best experience!! Highly recommend
This is my son's favorite restaurant and it was his 21st birthday the night before so it was our celebration together. As soon as we walked in he was wished a happy birthday by the hostesses, and even though we were just the two os us we were sat in a big booth while larger parties were at smaller tables...i think everyone who worked there came by to say happy birthday and we were presented with special menus with his name which they also presented a rolled up one to take home. Stellar service all around. And the food just so good....the yukon gold puree was addictive, the hangar steak so perfectly cooked and seasoned, the Jidori chicken best roast chicken ever, lovely shisito peppers. And of course you are started out with a amuse bouche before the meal and another one before dessert. The dessert amuse bouche was the best part of the dessert, sadly both the dessert we ordered and the one the presented him for his birthday were not my favorites, he liked them better but the mont blanc tarte was not at all what were expecting and the chocolate cake was a little dry. Given Tom Colicchio's role on Top Chef where it is common knowledge that a lackluster dessert is what has sent many a chef home I just think they can do a little better. Maybe it was off night and it certainly didn't sour our opinion in any way...honestly I'm not a huge dessert fan anyway, but we still dream of the peanut butter dessert that we had there years ago....Then we were given breakfast muffins to have for the morning. Just an mazing and special restaurant. And kudos to everyone who waited on us throughout the evening they made us feel very special.
It is no secret amongst my friends and family that Craft Los Angeles is my absolutely favorite place to have a nice meal. The entire team takes care of you with incredible service, cocktails, dining, and dessert...they're the top of the game. I adore them, so.
We come here every year for our anniversary. The service is outstanding but not fussy. Our only complaint this time is that they did away with the chef's tasting menu, which was fabulous. I hope they reconsider bringing that back. I'm sure we'll be back for our next anniversary.
Excellent on all levels. Thank you for the amuse bouche....Shared 2 pastas for the 4 of us. Authentic and most delicious ..... The loup de mer was superb...crispy and flavorful. Halibut was perfectly roasted and delicious. The veggies: roasted cauliflower and potato purée were superb. Shared a trio of gelatos which were excellent. Loved the sweets presented as the finale.
Most professional service and beautiful ambiance. Craft is REAL restaurant! It seems to be consistent as well. Perfection! LA needs more places like this to dine! Thank you Tom Collichio!!
Way too expensive for what you get. $200 a couple with one cocktail is too rich for my blood
We had a truly excellent dinner for a birthday celebration!
Our expectations were very high - and all were met or exceeded. Excellent on all fronts!
Another great meal at Craft. These folks know how to run a restaurant. Great food, outstanding service and an extensive wine list.
My favorite in West L A
Craft was amazing! My boyfriend and I went because we are big Top Chef fans and wanted to try Tom's restaurant. Our meal was amazing. Some of our favorite things were the avocado salad, the ricotta cavatelli, and the mint chocolate chip ice cream (you could taste that the mint flavor came from actual mint leaves). The service was incredible.
Grilled Salmon and Green Beans were awesome
Wonderful service and delicious food. Unfortunately, the price keeps me away for anything except special occasions. I wish I could afford to eat there more often.
Terrible service very mediocre food way overpriced not a very pretty or impressive space
We were truly impressed with quality of service and each of our dishes were superb! We’ll definitely returning to this gem of a place!
Craft is our favorite restaurant in Los Angeles, hands down. The food is always fantastic. The ambiance is romantic. The waiters are delightful and knowledgeable. I can’t recommend it highly enough.
Each course -- from the bread to the coffee - kept getting better and better. My palette was tickled.
Can't wait to go there again.
We followed the advice of our waiter & were not disappointed. We were a party of 6 so we got to share many of the menu items. What a feast! The beef short rib was a favorite as well as the duck. Kind of pricey, but very delicious.
Perfect evening. Excellent service and delicious food. Fantastic cocktails and amazing desserts. But really this place excels due to the service!
The Service was impeccable. Honestly cannot even explain how above and beyond the staff went to celebrate my GF’s birthday. Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking to celebrate something special!
Great for a business dinner. Dimly lit, low volume, shared style dinner. The staff was very professional and attentive. well done.
The whole experience was magnificent. I definitely recommend.
The best two meals I've had in LA were here! This is for my money the best restaurant on the West End.
I had a marvelous halibut dish for lunch--it was cooked and flavored perfectly. Topped off with a delicious einkorn pound cake with figs. It's nice and quiet, and the servers and other staff were very nice.
The food is eclectic and it works. The service staff is attentive and knowledgeable. The room is spacious but not too difficult to hold a conversation.
Great food, fantastic service and while it’s a bit on the expensive side, it’s well worth it.
Great place, good quality food, creative preparation and presentation
This was was excellent meal! Outstanding service, calm ambiance, and delicious food beautifully served. Everything was perfect. We will definitely return.
Annabelle says: wonderful place attentive servers. Delicious interesting food. Scallops were the most perfect ever. Bread amazing. Amuse bouche and dessert tastes were a wonderful gift.
Very happy with our experiences
This is the place that you love and then you share it with others and they love it too! Will continue to return and enjoy the food, service, drinks, and memories!
