   Its hard to write a bad review for a restaurant that just opened a few weeks ago, but Grappolo needs come constructive criticism if they will turn things around. The restaurant is very small and someone thought to try to cram as many tables and chairs they could into it, you are literally touching the back of the chair of the person behind you and it is extremely loud. Even a waitress could not get to a table she was supposed to serve because there was no path to the table. We had a reservation but there were no tables for 2 inside when we arrived, the hostess sat us at a 4 top and after we already ordered the owner came by, did not greet us, and just said if we would move because we were at a 4 top and were only 2. We did not end up having to move but they did move half our table to combine to the table next to us .As for the food, I think its crazy they charge $7 for bread. We did order a cheese appetizer and thought it would come with bread but it did not, only a ball of cheese to eat unaccompanied. The entrees were ok, they weren’t bad but weren’t great either. Our waters were never refilled. We were very excited as my fiancees family is from Italy and we just spent a good amount of time over there. With multiple Italian spots on Park Ave, Grappolo is now at the bottom of my list. They need to take out some tables in the restaurant and make it a more intimate experience, get some sun shades, turn on the AC, and give people some bread!

   Hi Sarah, Thank you for your honest feedback. I’m really sorry to hear that your experience fell short, especially after coming in with such excitement. The night you cam in was one of our busiest since opening, and while that's something we are grateful for, it definitely made the space feels tight. We’re already working on rethinking our layout to make it more comfortable and manageable. On the food side, we need to make the menu and expectations more clear. I’m sorry about the missed water refills. That’s a basic thing, and it shouldn't have been overlooked. We're learning quickly, and feedback like yours helps us get better.    We went here for my wife's birthday and could not be happier with our experience. We're a house divided, 1 vegan and 1 non vegan so going out to eat can be challenging. I emailed Grappolo and asked if they could accommodate a vegan. Within 15 minutes I got a reply saying they would absolutely accommodate. A lot of times when I go places with my wife, the vegan option is not very creative nor very satisfying but that was not the case here. The chef at Grappolo made me a absolutely stunning vegan salad and vegan past dish. My wife had the truffle risotto loved that as well. It was our servers first day there and she was absolutely delightful. The owner (I believe) was walking around the entire time making sure everyone felt at home. Love this place, we'll be back.

   A wonderful addition to dining on the avenue! The filet of beef with the peppercorn sauce as outstanding. The sliced beet salad was outstanding. It is one of our favorite restaurants.

   first time in this restaurant the food was amazing fresh ingridients delicious authentic taste great atmosphere great service the owner constantly interacting with coustomers .been in Italy before i can tell you that this reminded me at The real Cucine Italiana ....definetly will go back

   Our experience at Grappolo was nothing short of excellent. From the moment we walked in, Massimo, the owner, welcomed us warmly and cheerfully, setting a wonderful tone for the evening. His entire team was incredibly attentive and made sure we were well cared for throughout the night. One of the highlights of the visit was discovering that Chef Hercules Dos Santos, who had worked with Massimo at his restaurant in London, is now here, bringing his exceptional culinary skills to Grappolo. The commitment to authenticity is clear — the pasta is made in-house, and the quality shines through in every bite. We began with the octopus and shrimp, both perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The homemade bread that accompanied the meal was simply irresistible. For our main dishes, we had the spaghetti frutti di mare, the branzino, and the gnocchi. Each dish was exceptional, beautifully presented, and bursting with authentic Italian flavors. Grappolo is truly a gem and a fantastic addition to the Winter Park and Orlando dining scene. We are so happy to have discovered this authentic Italian treasure and are already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an unforgettable Italian dining experience!

   I always give a new restaurant at least 2 tries, but I don’t think we will come back to this one. We asked the bartender for a wine recommendation and he suggested we look at the wine menu because it was “extensive”. In reality, they only serve beer and wine, and it was Not extensive by any means. The appetizer Arancini Siciliani was listed as risotto balls and we were told the dish would serve 3 but turned out to be 1 ball barely enough for 2 people to share. The salad dressing was not on the side as requested and the cheese was missing. The portions were all over the place . . . My husband had gnocchi that was supposed to be topped with strips of filet mignon but instead there were little scraps of various sizes, maybe 3oz at best on top of a small pile of gnocchi. My son’s pasta dish was huge but unfortunately very undercooked. Not al dente, but barely hit the water. On top of everything else, it was quite pricey with no sides added to the dishes.
