Very enjoyable ,kinda loud. Clam chowder was great, branzino was enormous. Could have had better presentation. Fair amount of work to fully open and debone but very tasty. Will be back.

Amazing addition to the neighborhood! All the staff super professional & knowledgeable. Great food! Smaller portions but the prices aren’t unfair for the quality you get!

Extremely noisy. Even outside! . ‘Energetic’ does not describe the noise level. It was deafening inside and still quite loud outside The food was average/good. Definitely not great We had two bad oysters and an over cooked fresh fish. Wine pours were on the small size. Service was very good but our server strangely swapped out near the end of our dinner (he didn’t leave —we saw him busy folding napkins). But friendly service doesn’t compensate for the noise and average food. We won’t be going back

I preface this review by stating we are sophisticated diners. This was my third time at the restaurant and my wife’s first. We had a truly terrible dining experience, with an overwhelming cacophony of loud sound ruining the meal. The food was sub par. The crab Louis did not measure up to a true San Francisco version. The fish (dorado) was overly dry and very bland. It appeared to be steamed not oak grilled. The butter sauce for the fish added very little and was underwhelming. The fries were extremely thin haystack potatoes which were not accurately described on the menu. They were difficult to eat and not satisfying. The broccoli (not broccolini) was nearly raw. Our server tried and was good, but he could not rescue the evening. Despite ordering a full meal we left hungry. We were so looking forward to dining and ready to spend to have an enjoyable evening but were severely disappointed. It will take a lot for us to return.

The NOISE level inside the restaurant made it impossible to have a conversation with our guests. If you have any hearing issues, this is not the restaurant for you, especially on a weekend night.

Our waiter today is one of the reasons I will return to this restaurant! Incredibly attentive, had excellent communication skills, and made my entire dining experience enjoyable. I’ve been to lunch three times, dinner twice, and happy hour three times, and I’ve always had a great time and good service, but I especially want to highlight our young waiter today, so much potential. I’ve had a wonderful experience every time I’ve been there. Happy hour is my favorite!
