Nick was a great server. the restaurant was very noisy. they played music over the conversations, which always makes people talk louder.

As I had heard, Clark’s was a nice new restaurant but over priced and loud. We went for Sunday lunch/brunch and was surprised to get a small (slightly larger than a slider) hamburger, bowl of soup, Mac and cheese and 3 drinks for close to $100. One of us ordered a Diet Coke and they got a glass full of ice and a little Diet Coke. When we asked for me, we were told they charge for refills! It was very, very loud. We were warned about the prices and the noise level - it’s a nice restaurant but not sure we’ll be back.

Oysters and cold seafood starters (crudo, tuna carpaccio) were superb again and all our mains (especially lobster roll and linguine clams) were excellent as well.

We were very disappointed on the food quality. We ordered the Cioppino and was very disappointed because the broth didn’t have any flavor whatsoever. We paid $55 for the dish and it was not worth that. The quality of the seafood was just so so. We also had the lobster roll which was good, but the coleslaw, again, had no flavor whatsoever. We also had the clam chowder which hardly had any clams in it, it was mostly potatoes. We were seated at a table next to the bar where people were standing around their friends seated on the bar stools. People and waiters passing were bumping into our seats. It was so noisy and uncomfortable seating there. Although, the oysters were very good and fresh. However, we will probably not returning to this over hyped establishment.

Service was slow at 4:30 due to turn over service for night shift. It took us 30 min to receive our oyster order and the rest of our food also took long. One table next to us sat later than us and received their items before us so not sure why our oyster order took longer than others. Hoping they can look into this to improve service. Perhaps having shift change occur before they open at 4pm may help improve on faster service of food.

At first there was not a less noisy table - one host - maybe by the kitchen??? Then another sweet host said we could have the corner table if we could wait. Then she added info on ‘Table’ so we could get quieter tables in the future. It was my husband’s 81st birthday and she saved the night. The rest was great-especially the fantastic service, the friendly smiles, delicious cocktails and food, and topped off with sorbet with a candle. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Second lunch here and I will be back. Delicious in-house baked bread. Loved the crab cake and lobster roll. The crab louie however was a big disappointment - just a big pile of lettuce with a meager amount of crab. No hard boiled eggs. No tomato, cucumber, nothing.

We asked to be seated outside, as we felt the noise level inside made it impossible to visit. We ordered the burgers, which we had heard good things about, and they were delicious, but more like sliders than hamburgers. I think they double as bar snacks. The coleslaw and the shoestring potatoes (remember those?) were excellent. I would recommend this restaurant to all but the hard of hearing!

My sister and I had a fabulous lunch at Clark’s! We loved the natural light, the cheery decor, the food and our server Marino was charming and efficient. We will definitely come back.
