scallion croissant, beef tartare tartlet, lasagna, and kalbi were outstanding. the wings were okay at best. the non alcoholic drinks were also tasty and would come back to try the cocktails. service was also okay - seemed like waitress didn’t have enough experience

Had a great time at Yeobo, Darling! Everything we had was amazing and fantastic. Such attention to detail in all of the dishes. The kalbi just melted in your mouth. From start to finish, everything was perfect! We would come back again and try the other dishes.

food wise, it is very good. however, i find the restaurant is bit petty on corkage charges. Also, i was celebrating my wife's birthday and all the restaurant can offer is a candle on the dessert that we ordered. it is a first in all of our previous experiences.

This is one of the most memorable meals we've ever had! Furthermore, we had an exceptional dining experience due to the wait staff! Our server Tom was informative, engaging and on top of his game. I chose a Barolo, decanted per Tom's recommendation, to perfectly pair with our dinner (oysters, scallion croissant, shrimp stuffed morel mushroom, lu rou lasagna, crispy anchovy rice, kalbi, and all of the available desserts: karat cake, chocolate mousse, milk soft cream). The dishes had a whiff of familiarity, but creatively elevated. We left with great memories of the evening and a longing for our next meal at Yeobo, Darling!

Absolutely incredible food and exceptional service. We tried several starters and small plates (shrimp, amberjack, uni and scallion croissant were all excellent) plus the Yeobo kalbi large plate (best kalbi ever!). Michelin caliber food from the former Michelin star Maum team. Best Menlo Park restaurant in our 30+ years living here.

Creative food, no blinds on windows so sun shines through and hit your eyes at dinner, was very uncomfortable, hard to enjoy dinner.

This is a new restaurant from the owners of Maum which shut down in Palo Alto due to the pandemic. Maum was a very small restaurant with an unusual format, Yeobo, Darling is a more traditional, modest sized restaurant. The food is all quite unique, quite spicy, but not too spicy in the Korean style. Dishes are relatively small, except for the ones at the bottom of the menu (part 3) which are quite large - we had the pork collar which was excellent. We shared the coonstripe shrimp, soondubu mixed seafood, the amberjack and the pork which was about right for 2 people. The menu is quite small, so this is a good sampling. Each dish was unique, special and excellent. Yeobo is quite expensive, but the quality is very high. The service, especially for such a new restaurant, was excellent. There are some very unusual touches like the silverware tray built into the table which is a perfect mix when chopsticks don't work. The noise level is moderate to high depending on where you are seated; lots of parking in the lot behind the restaurant with an entrance from the parking lot. We'll be back.
