Would definitely recommend this restaurant, delicious food and very aesthetic environment. I️ am rating 4/5 stars on the food because my boyfriend ordered the Spaghetti Latini and he was not particularly a fan, I️ ordered the Tortelli Di Burrata and it is a MUST- so delicious. We also ordered the Antipasto Il Cielo and it was a fantastic assortment of cheese/meat and bread! The atmosphere was was super cute, not too loud at all (we went on a Tuesday). We did put on the reservation that it was our anniversary and we didn't get accommodated with the cute little cake or rose pedals they offer but we also didn't say anything to the server so that could have definitely been a mistake on our end. All in all, great experience, will be going back.

It was a perfect late summer evening at Il Cielo with wonderful food and extraordinary company. Initially, we had to wait for a front garden table (which I requested on my advanced reservation albeit understanding none guaranteed) but the slight delay was comfortably brief thanks to the evening’s maitre d (whom I unfortunately failed to get his name). The maitre ‘d and wait staff were both wonderful as was our array of culinary selections. All delicious and all came out in a timely fashion. Bar was a welcoming and comfortably cozy place to wait for our table as well. It’s worth noting, the tables in the back area are quite nice for any other beautiful night, but I had invited dear friends new to LA out for a night under Il Cielo’s ‘stars’ as this would be their first experience of this iconic eatery so wanted it to feel especially magical which it ultimately became—the Maitre d’ handled all quite graciously and after we respectfully declined the more indoor-feeling option, worked his magic followed by quietly attentive service. Class act.

This cozy restaurant is one to try! If you’re looking for a quaint relaxing beautiful dining experience this will be your place. The food is amazing the staff is so nice and accommodating and they talk to you as if you weren’t a stranger .I highly recommending going here if you have never been!

We had a really great time. Except that my chicken was super dry and there was only an offer to replace it after the entire table had finished eating. Was way more expensive than it should have been. And no offer to even partially comp my chicken dinner.

Thursday Night outdoors almost full ,I pay for a Romantic package for my wife and our Anniversary with full table of Rose Petal, Hart shape cochleae and 3 feet candle,and we were the only table with all decoration ,Court yard Dinner was beautiful I choose Italian restaurant and we expect warm Hospitality from romantic Italian,I assume the usher & waiters are Italian but it was an lonely night, no greeting from any service people,you don't see any service people smile or laugh from guest. service people never stop by simply ask do you need anything ? can I get you something?Can I please take the plate? do you need more water ? Is everything fine ? How is the food ? The food is good but very cold & uneasy down atmosphere.

The service is very good, servers personable and attentive. The setting is a cozy patio, but a little ramshackle, with wobbly tables and uneven seating. Traffic noise is muffled but still audible. The food is quirk good~ daily special sea bass excellent. the Charcuterie platter traditional. Salad fresh, serving definitely appetizer portion. The only down side is the bread, which should be key in Italian restaurant. This bread was doughy and dry at the same time. Mostly tasteless except for shriveled dried tomatoes on top. Not up to the standards of the rest of the food. Great service, convenient location, cozy ambience and good food. Just needs good bread for five stars!

were originally sat right by the front door w/ a real bush growing into our table (disgusting, not charming) and my date was cold wrapped up in her jacket. no one noticed so I had to explicitly ask to move to back patio where we sat next to now slightly less encroaching fake bushes. but the largest offense was when we tried to order some antipasto from our very rude server who informed us they 'had a very small kitchen and the chef would prefer our entire order at once' and to 'let him know once we know what we want for our main entree' and then and only then he'd take our appetizer order. we ended up ordering apps and over priced weak watery brunello from another friendly enough server only to be incredibly disappointed w/ the quality of the food. calamari was nothing special, olive garden quality. antipasto plate was generic lunch meat and the char broiled octupus was not cooked through all the way. we left the food and the wine on the table and left w/o ordering anything else. the server tried telling me my card was declined (never got a notification on my phone of even an attempt), gave him another card (from the same issuer) that worked just fine ha! The same card he said was declined worked just fine at the valet. i would avoid this place at all costs.

It was a pleasure having brunch at Il Cielo. The service was excellent (kudos to Massimo and the entire serving staff), I’m not a big fan of Italian food but the culinary experience was exceptional, and the owner, Pasquale was so friendly and hospitable. Will definitely come back again ❤️

We celebrated our anniversary here and the staff was very attentive and helpful. They made the evening very special. The food was fabulous and the patio area was wonderful, with great lighting, a small fountain and beautiful decor. This is a great place to enjoy a special evening.

We’ve passed by this restaurant for years and I’ve always been meaning to try it so we gave it a try and boy did it disappoint. The patio is fantastic especially on a beautiful evening like what we had but Food was just old and tired – my Seabass took me 45 minutes to complete chewing as I’ve never had anything like it! Service was good and ambience on the patio is fantastic, but need new chef or to buy fresher food .
