This is our second visit and it confirms our first observation along with comments from neighbors who have gone there, that the staff in general does not have the proper training to serve professionally. Our order was delivered to the table all at once despite the fact that 3 of the 4 in the party ordered appetizers and we had to accommodate all the plates on the table and hastened to finish our first course so we could start on our entrees. The waitress was handling too many tables to provide a thoughtful service and clearing the table throughout the meal was inconsistent. They can certainly do better in light of the competition and if they want to survive.

Extremely loud music on a tuesday night, appetizers and main came together despite requesting to bring appetizers first, by the time we got to the main (pizza) it was cold, service needs to improve. Bit pricey but food is very good.

The restaurant is nice. The staff is friendly but the noise is impossible. I don't understand the need to play the music so loud that you can't hear the person next to you.

Me fui con una decepción de este restaurante tan grande , llegué con mi esposo y mi hijo a comer y tengo que ser muy sincera la Hoster dayana y la server una muchacha turka fueron muy amables hasta ahí íbamos bien . Luego ordenamos una pasta cacio Pepe y mi esposo un veal al limone con certeza era mucho limón y decía polenta en el menú y no tenían polenta salió con un arroz salteado . La pasta tenía absoluto sabor a huevo dicen que la hacen ahí ! Olía a huevo y pimienta negra ! Regresemos los platos y ordenamos otros , tampoco nos gustó pedí una salsa truffle y era aceite y mantequilla con truffle triturada era rara . Los meatball que ordenó mi esposo eran imcipidos no sabían a nada estaban con agua adentro como si estaban congelados . Y a todo esto nunca jamás vino el manager a la mesa a preguntar nada . Vino la Hoster que parecía la manager y ella buscó al chef y el vino a disculparse y fue muy Cortez pero qué feo y que mal por ese Staff que fueron atentos y preocupados, pero parecían niños pequeños sin su madre o padre el manager andaba caminando o sentado comiendo en una mesa atrás y pude sentir que ellos estaban como que no sabían que decirnos . Un lugar bonito pero con mala función del manager! No regreso ni lo recomiendo !

We were there at 5:30 yesterday, seated outside. We had a great waitress Olesia. She served us superbly. However, there’s another waitress with her, named Ana. Ana had poor customer service. She never smiled at anyone and we felt like she didn’t really want to be there. This our fifth time to go to Serafina since you’ve opened last month and we love the place. The manager seems to be present, but I’ve never seen him connect with the guests. He does a lot of walking around, but lacks the connection. The ambiance is great, food is terrific! Great music, awesome vibe.

A new neighborhood gem for Downtown Miami! Serafina provides quality food and service at a reasonable price and with stylish ambience. Our group appreciated the friendly service and the fact that we could have a conversation without the blasting club music you find at many Miami restaurants.

We decided to try Serafina Downtown. The bar area is nice a good place to go before or after a game. However, the food was just okay. Not bad not great. We ordered two pastas, two appetizers, and a pizza. No drinks only a glass of wine. The bill came to 285.00 with tip. My husband paid it. I suddenly realized that this amount was seriously high for what we ate. I asked our waiter to show me the bill. Guess what? We were over charged by $100.00 Seriously, the service was missing and this type of over charge... No way will I return. A better place for pasta is Sofia in the Design District.
