   Ordered Crispy Duck and Sunday Night Steaks. My wife wanted to swap the inclusive glass of white wine for Rose. The Rose has a cheaper price at £10. The manager was inflexible and refused. The crispy duck was cremated, bitty and rock hard. Just about edible. Advised Server. Both steaks were burnt on one side and OK on the other. Advised server. We don’t believe in sending food back. Finally I requested a black Americano coffee from the machine and got a straight black coffee. I sent this back and got the correct Americano. The restaurant was almost empty, (not surprising with this level of service), with just a few tables occupied. As a member, this whole experience was extremely frustrating. I would like a response from The Ivy.

   Wonderful experience. Birthday breakfast outside in the sun. Fantastic food (Eggs Royale) and a Buck’s Fizz and help to select a delicious mocktail. We were so well looked after, by attentive staff, it was a very enjoyable experience. Thank you The I’ve Tunbridge Wells.

   A pleasant meal but received wrong main course and I foolishly miss-read the champagne her glass for per bottle! The food was wonderful, the rosemary almonds are mind-blowing, we attended for a birthday, the only real drawback was I'd ordered the roast lamb, since they'd run out of the fillet steak and a different lamb dish arrived. I honestly thought a bit odd but was hungry, so just ate it and thought perhaps I'd miss-interpreted the menu. I'd then ordered two desserts, as I was still hungry, since my lamb turned up without anything else to accompany it, no roast potatoes, carrots, Yorkshire pudding, gravy etc. So the quality of the food was excellent but an error in ordering had somehow meant I got a different dish to the one I requested. The per glass prices for champagne are also shown but not per bottle, so the £23 bottle was in fact £140, so that's my mistake and not the end of the world, should have worn my glasses! Overall, it was very nice, just a slight blemish and was just offered a glass of Ivy Champagne on my next visit but bearing in mind I've just spent £426 plus tip, I'm not sure a glass of bubbling is really going to entice me to go back. So my advice, try and keep a menu, so you can check your order!
