We ended the fried chicken. We didn’t think much of the shrimp with fried rice. They charge extra if you use a credit card so we won’t return.

The food is outstanding, one of the best in Sarasota. Our server was also great. Highly recommend this place.

The staff was super nice and our waitress was great. The food is way more expensive than it should be. The cheese was not melted on my burger and the pork was overcooked.

Loved our bartender/waiter at our high top. He was fun and personable. My friend loved his best damn mac&cheese with fried chicken. We both liked the fish dip and my Caesar salad was a nice portion with slices of delicious anchovies. Thanks for a great meal!

The food was outstanding as usual. Our only negative was the decibel level. Apparently there was a group in the other having to shout to be heard and the hard surfaces reflected the noise. I used to eat at the place on the North Trail and I’m glad to see them move up in the world.

First visit to Fork and Hen on a Wednesday evening led me to cancel a reservation for Saturday elsewhere in Sarasota and make a new reservation back at Fork and Hen for Saturday night. Both visits were outstanding, service, cocktails, food, everything. Four of us went on Wednesday and another four went on Saturday, Our server Wednesday was Jacob and he made the whole evening a very fun event, he was charismatic and worked so well with our group. Saturday was with Haley and she could not have been better, she fit right into our evening, what fun. I do not know where to start with the food, the portions are generous, presentations were flawless and the flavors tantalized the taste buds. On the appetizer menu, the absolute bomb, is the drop biscuits crab rangoon, don't skip it. Over the 2 nights 6 different entrees were tried and all 6 exceeded our expectations; I cannot wait to go back and try more. I think I have found my new favorite spot in Sarasota. They have a nice bar area and happy hour. Will be back very soon!!

First time to try brunch. We loved our many dinners at the original small Fork and Hen and enjoyed our one time dinner at the new location as the Crab Rangoon and Mac & Cheese with Fried Chicken both amazing meals and will order both again. Brunch not our fav as a long wait for food (45 minutes) as restaurant was packed on Father’s Day plus when food finally arrived was cold but we just wanted to go ahead and eat at that point instead of waiting longer to heat it up. So, go at dinner and order the delicious Crab Rangoon and Mac ‘n Cheese Fried Chicken!!!! So good!
