    The food was fantastic. The value on the $35 all you can eat menu you cannot be beat. However, our problem is that we had an 8 PM reservation and we’re not seated until 8:45 PM. Apparently they try to accommodate too many walk-ins. That’s highly problematic. Is the food incredible. Yes. Is it worth a 45 minute late reservation? No.

    2nd omakase for us. It was just ss amazing as our 1st. Great service, fresh fish, creative sushi, unlimited sake. Highly recommend.

    My daughter and I had the”all you can eat menu” and it was great! Food was delish, well prepared and presented. Service was cheerful and efficient. I had misgivings that it would be a high quantity, low quality experience but it was the same excellent sushi, sashimi and entree as Himawari. Highly recommend.

    Delicious food with friendly service. The fish is excellent quality and each dish is thoughtfully prepared. The environment is casual, comfortable and joyful. We love it here!

    A wonderful birthday celebration. Fresh fish served creatively by a talented sushi chef. So delicious. We also liked the unlimited hot sake. Staff and owner Jerry were very friendly. A great night.

    We had the omakase for $100.. it’s a great deal and it includes sake or beer. A lot of the fish was flown in from Japan .. excellent Otoro and Fat belly Salmon, The Monkfish liver was extremely fresh and soft compared to other places I’ve been to. The Uni was flown in from Tokyo. I can tell the chef had pride in his work . I’m a sushi snob and wasn’t expecting much but if you don’t want to trek into the city or fly to California for great omakase .. This is a win/win👍

    The evening started well. Sushi was very good, good value. Music was good at a good volume. All of the sudden, music volume was elevated to an uncomfortable level. I asked that it be turned down, as we could not even hear each other across a small table. Then we could hear several drunken customers. I suspect that the music had been turned up to cover that noise, rather than asking that they leave, or calling for police assistance, if needed. We will try it again, in deference to the food and good, though over stretched service. I am hoping that the Saturday evening clientele will not be as poorly behaved as we suffered in our first experience.

    Love to have choices and the all you can eat menu is well worth it! Will definitely be back soon. PS ask for the pickled wasabi it’s delicious .

    I’ve been a customer of Himawari for over 10 years. So happy to see this new concept by the same owner. We did the unlimited sushi for 34.99. The menu is a little limited by design but the quality was great. Service and awesome. Great value. And course, seeing our favorite owner (Jimmy) is always a treat.

    We were excited to see a place like this in our area. The owner revamped his prior Japanese restaurant which was here for decades to offer an updated fresh take on the cuisine. They have downsized their menu to offer only the best options and now include a 16-course Omakase experience. They also offer an all-you-can-eat option as well for a fixed cost. The fish is fresh and very high quality, the service is attentive, the place has been completely renovated. I liked the vibe with music playing but not too loud so you can certainly have a conversation. We really enjoyed our dinner and will certainly be back. Just a note that if you order the "all-you-can-eat" option that they are half rolls and smaller portions, but the great part is that you can order a variety of items from the menu. The chicken teriyaki was incredible as well. You can also order a la carte for the full size menu items.
