Advertised as a “nice italian restaurant”. Service was GREAT but food was subpar. Would rather go to Delmonico’s for the price and food quality, but all servers were lovely and accomodating, just not wHat was expected. Linguine with clams was extremely salty and red sauce tasted like a jarred sauce but noodles were perfect texture. Would go again for casual family dinner but not for special occasion..

Easter dinner at Sophia’s was excellent! We were a table of 3, but there were other parties with a much larger group…one had 18 people…and the service was to be commended. Additionally, the food and drinks were delicious. At our table, we had 2 seafood fettuccines and 1 zupa pesce…wonderfully prepared! Will certainly return soon.

Sofia's was super accommodating to our requests and we had a wonderful evening celebrating a birthday. There was live music, delicious food and even a birthday surprise for the birthday kid. Thank you for a memorable dinner!

The food is pretty good but very pricey for what you are getting. Our meals for four people were well over $100 per person and we split one app between us. The. building is a bit odd and the ambiance with all of its’ pink interior and murals seems dated. But the biggest issue was the music. The duo playing in the bar area were loud and the music selection was not very conducive to fine dining. If you are going to have background music it shouldn’t be loud renderings of Guns and Roses songs screamed into a microphone. We arrived at 6 and left at 815 and the duo never stopped its’ noise the entire time we ate our meal. Won’t be back here too soon.

Dated interior sets this spot back. The service was very good though the food was just okay. There are a lot of Italian restaurants in the area and Sofia’s is somewhere in the middle for taste and portions.

Live music was really nice; our server, Hasnine was excellent- attentive and kind. The food was not great. The chicken cutlets were not pounded and breaded there- they seemed like something you might get at Restaurant Depot. The eggplant was so thin you wouldn’t even know it was there. Pink sauce was “eh.” I would not dine here again. Disappointing. Probably a good spot for drinks at the bar.

The food was okay, but way over priced. The appetizer was the best thing we had. Veal portobello was okay, very underseasoned and the veal was a bit tough. Pasta carbonara was very basic and lacked flavor outside bites of pancetta. The biggest issue we had was the appetizer and entrees came out together. We had a 3x2 foot table which had no room for the food and drinks with three large plates, and we couldn't enjoy the app because our entrees were getting cold. Drinks were good. Dirty martinis.

Very nice atmosphere. The food is good quality but not what is expected at those prices. The portions are not very generous.
