    Dined here for dinner with a friend. Began with drinks at the bar, where I had amazing Greek red wine, recommended by the bartender. The only odd aspect of starting at the bar occurred when the tab had to be closed. Uncertain why it was so important to close the bar tab at the bar instead of shifting it to our table bill. Weird. Service is pretty good, very friendly and attentive servers. We were presented with various breads and pitas, with in house marinated olives immediately after being seated. We didn't have any of the breads or pitas, but the olives were pretty amazing. For the starter, we ordered fried calamari which was insanely rubbery. Not well executed IMO. For main we both ordered salmon, requesting medium preparation. The presentation was beautiful, accompanied by well cooked farro (?) and a beautiful glaze. The salmon skin was perfectly executed, but the salmon tasted medium-well. I don't think I can blame the chef for that though, as we did not dig into our salmon well after 10 minutes of being presented. Overall, I would dine here again with heavy consideration on the ambience, great greek wine and a great variety of food options, knowing that there is great potential in the flavors.

    Very good service. Decor was lovely. We sat and were served some marinated olives with a variety of of bread and pita. Food was very good and a good portion size. Would definitely return

    It’s almost too nice of a place for the location. I don’t want to spend that much for dinner on Metropolitan, though in fairness the food was tasty. Service was painfully slow and being seated at a table facing the bathroom kind of killed the ambiance of a nice interior.

    We had a great dinner sitting at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. Always looking for new places i our hood. We will definitely be back!!

    We went to dinner on Saturday evening. Meli did not disappoint on any level turning an ordinary evening out into something extra special. The food from the tuna tartare and sesame feta appetizers to the main course of scallops (so delicious) and Black Sea bass were wonderful as was the not to be missed dessert of ekmek which was light and just the right amount of sweetness. The servers were friendly and attentive even the parking attendant was super courteous and polite. We enjoyed every course and will definitely be coming back again and again as Meli is a place that is not to be missed.
