Good was very good. We went on a very busy night and it took over an hour to get our food.
Wonderful authentic Italian food. Good value excellent service
Food and ambiance were fine, but it took an hour and a half for our main course to be served.
We have dinner at your restaurant often and have made out reviews . Now when we ask
any of the servers did they get any notice that we gave them a great review they all have
said they do not get to see the reviews so I fee it useless to make them out .
Your servers are outstanding.
Wonderful experience, as always. We love Portichellos.
We always have a good meal when we eat at Porticello’s! And the waitstaff are always friendly and prompt. My husband loves the gluten free pasta options, as well!
We always love Porticello's. They never disappoint.
Disappointed in the experience. Given the price, salads were small. Entrees were bland, uninteresting and weren’t served hot. Service was mediocre at best.
Food was fantastic / salmon and scallops were prepared to perfection. Waitstaff was very attentive. Only issue was the hostess trying to seat us at a table near the water station and the a really badly lit table / and was not very proactive in finding us a spot - we eventually moved to a better table that we identified.
The food was good and service was great. I will go back. I know that over all it is good food.
Love Polyanne! Chicken parm and dinner were amazing, would highly recommended this place!
We went for our 5th wedding anniversary. The food was great. Waitress was very good!
Your server Meaghan was outstanding as Pollyanna your other server we have had is also outstanding keep it up.
We had brought friends to Porticellos who we havent been here before. They absolutely love it. I know they will be back, maybe even without us. Polyanne was outstanding as usual, cant say enough about how welcoming she makes you feel. I feel like we are family, so nice. The busboy/bus girls were great too. Outstanding Porticellos, keep up the great job. Love no table clothes. A little more lighting to read the menu though.
Not much going for it. The room was dreary and without vitality.
Everything was awesome, can’t wait to go back!
Another awesome time with our amazing friends Harriet and George from Quincy. Food, atmosphere and outstanding service from all including our favorite waitress Colleen! And prices are very reasonable too! We try and go there as often as possible.
Atmosphere is great, food was awesome!!! Waitress could have been more attentive to drinks and food was very slow to come. Nice place to relax if you are not in any hurry.
The food was fantastic. The staff was attentive and inviting. My overall experience was very good.
Nice restaurant. Good was better than most and portions ample. Service could have been better. We’ll go again.
We love Porticello's and go there about once a month. Service, food and drinks are always delicious!
Highly recommend the Resturant, food and staff was wonderful
Made a reservation through OpenTable and was seated right away. Waitress was charming and took our drink order promptly. We were pleasantly surprised that the bar carried the Italian aperitif, Aperol, so we ordered Spritzes all around.
We usually order something from the menu that we typically do not make at home and there were plenty of good choices. I opted for the Veal Sorrento which was similar to saltimbocca but with eggplant as a nice addition. My wife went with the tortellini in a cream sauce. The food was well prepared and portions were good. So good that two in our party took some home with them.
Good food, drinks and atmosphere and worth the price.
Been going here for 15 years---always great--i only wish i could make a marsala sauce as good as the chef!
Experience was very good and we will go back there again
We had Polyanne she is such an amazing person! It was a night to remember thank you Polyanne and Porticellos, awesome job!
Excellent food, great service (Sue) and nice ambiance. Bar area echoey loud. Staff worked as a team and very attentive to customers and needs. Delicious chicken Marsala and veal saltimbocca. Generous size portions, but not excessive in size. Began with the pear salad which we split and was plenty enough for two and nicely plated. Very light and nice summer salad. Finished with the chocolate lava style cake. Took a few extra mins to bake but well worth the wait! You knew they made it fresh just for you with the first bite. Outstanding! Plenty of parking. Easy access from route 24. Located at the corners of route 106 and route 138. Definitely will dine here again.
Everything was presented well, served as ordered, and tasted delicious.
Entree was presented to the table too fast. Salads were only half finished. Felt rushed.
Love this place. Staff welcoming and food great. Poltanbe makes the experience worth every penny
It was a very busy night, with what I thought was college graduation business from Stonehill College. I ordered the grilled octopus salad, my wife the scallops, as starters. The texture of the octopus was not good, the scallops were not completely cooked even though we asked that they be over cooked. For main course I ordered the chicken saltimbocca my wife the veal parmesan. It took 20 minutes to get this course. When it came my wife was served chicken parmesan, when we questioned this we were told the server grabbed the wrong dish but we could have the veal if we waited another 10 minutes. My wife agreed to have the chicken but upon tasting, it was cold. My chicken saltimbocca had no hint of sage at all, a key ingredient in this dish in my opinion. We ordered desert, I got spumoni and my wife crème brulle, the spumoni was over frozen and not at all flavorful, the crème brulle was grainy nothing smooth or crème about it. The house did not charge for the chicken parmesan my wife was served by mistake which was refreshing but the overall experience of the food left us very disappointed. I would not recommend this restaurant to my friends at least.
Food was fantastic! Light, fresh and full of taste! We are still talking about it 3 days later!
Had a lovely time at Porticello's. We went here for a Mother's Day dinner and although we were seated 25 minutes past our Reservation Time, the overall experience was still spactular (made up for by the Food and Service). The wait time was unfortunate, but clearly the Restaurant was doing everything they could to move people along, they were simply too popular that night.
The food was fantastic! Every dish was amazing. The Swordfish special was probably the best swordfish I've ever had. Additionally the side dishes (Mashed Potatoes, Pasta with oil & garlic, and the vegetable medley) enhanced the meal to a higher degree. Can't sing enough praises on the food.
The service was also amazing. We felt that we were attended to quite well. Our waitress made sure we were all enjoying every course throughout the night, gave recommendations on dishes, and even allowed us to try certain wines before pairing it with our meal.
We go here often with friends and this last time I had my entire family (18) for my son's college graduation. We had Melanie and you couldnt ask for a better or nicer waitress. The food was excellent even though a couple of people disagreed about the chicken parm which is what I ordered and thought it was great.
I would highly recommend Porticellos!
This restaurant is a hidden gym. Absolutely amazing food, ambiance and service. MUST try! Perfect for a date night.
Great food, great service we will be back very soon!
The service was so slow as to be considered “glacial”. It was 45 minutes between finish of the first course first course and arrival of the entree. I wish we had left when were an hour and a half in and no sign of our food.
The food was delicious and the service was great! We loved the table that we had. Each table has clean white linens on it.
It was easy to get our 630 reservation, but the hostess station was empty when we arrived and it took a few minutes to check in. We were seated promptly, and told someone would be right over with bread and water. Again it was several minutes. Our server seemed extremely busy, she rushed us for orders, and then the orders were slow to come. We had a friend arrive unexpectedly as our entrees arrived. We asked for more bread and dipping oil for her, our server brought the bread, no extra plate and we had to ask again for the oil. She was told a menu was not available as they were all in use. She ordered without one. Her meal came pretty quickly but she said it was very dry and not a very good chicken Parmesan. I ordered the eggplant Parmesan and enjoyed it. My other friend ordered the veal sorrento. It was a large portion but she thought it was just ok. We ordered a second round of drinks and they were very slow to come. We ordered dessert, our friend who arrived late wanted the creme brûlée and was told they were out, the table behind us got the last two...so she had the fruit tart instead which she said was very good. My other friend ordered the chocolate meltaway. I wanted cannoli and they were out, so I ordered the profiteroles and enjoyed them. The chocolate meltaway however came and it was extremely tiny, it looked like it came out of a mini muffin tin. She had ordered on previous visits and said it was alway a much larger portion. The restaurant was busy but not overly so, not sure why our service wasn’t better. As we were leaving we passed a table that had been served two cream brûlées...we thought the last two were served to the table behind us, we actually joked with those patrons as they were leaving about it. My friend was extremely disappointed as we were leaving witnessing what she felt was a slight.
Love Polyanne she makes us so welcome and great seeing her. They added chicken dish on the menu that my husband loves, thank you Porticellos.
