   They ran out of many of the items. I had to order 3 times and was served 15 minutes after the rest of my party was served. Then I was given and charged for the wrong bill. There was also no desert menu.

   The food was all excellent. Good eggplant and veal and chicken cutlets. Good cocktails We were there for Mother’s Day and would have been a nice experience but dinner was ruined by our table. We were seated in the front window. It was 3pm and the sun was boiling down. My 91 year old mother who is always cold felt faint from the heat. It was more than hot. We asked to be reseated and was told they had reservations. There were 4 open tables - 3 were still open when we left. Outside we talked to a woman who was seated in the other window. She was also agitated by the sauna we ate in. Invest in some blinds or don’t seat people there while the sun is beaming in.

   Absolutely loved it. The food was amazing martini on point and George was ab awesome host. Can't wait to go back.

   Our first time ti Carmine's did not disappoint. Dinner was delicious. I had the veal cutlet parmesean special, and my husband had the angus shortrib over pasta. We did not feel at all rushed, though there a 1-hour table reservation limit. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was great...so Newburyport. Highly recommend, we will be back!

   Great but not exceptional food, not a relaxed experience. Wine list needs more reasonably priced options. Service was fast and efficient.

   Great place, fresh pasta and all the dishes we had were terrific. Well made cocktails and good selection of wines by the glass. We will certainly return.

   Service was great, food was delicious, but pricy. Very noisy and difficult to have a conversation. Someone should put up some sound absorption panels

   Rainy night, sat at the bar being entertained with Nicole/George. Great food (exploding clams and veal vodka parm), good cocktails and lotsa laughs. High energy, cozy but comfortable…well done!

    Superb food. Every dish was great..the lobster ravioli is incredible! The restaurant is small, thus a bit loud, but in a lively non-obnoxious way. Service was excellent. Just a top notch restaurant!
