The service was exceptional. The food was very good, especially the crushed meatball ragu and bucatini, branzino, and the squid ink pasta. The latter was truly exceptional. The Chef board was also a delight. The New Italia Spritz was not as a good a regular Aperol or Limoncello spritz. The only knock on the night.

Although the focus here is Italian food, I decided to try some seafood tonight and ordered their scallops. My mistake! Although the scallops looked seared, I took my first bite and almost spit it out. It was raw on the inside! I flagged down our server and she said they would remake it. For the first 5 minutes I sat there watching my wife enjoy here meal. A manager finally came over and asked me how I wanted my scallops cooked! He tried blaming the waitress for not asking me that question. I have never been asked in ANY restaurant before, how I wanted my scallops cooked. I don't mind that they cook made a mistake. I very much minded that the manager tried to put the problem on our server and on myself for not specifying that 'I prefer my scallops COOKED PLEASE' ! Additionally it took at least 10 more minutes before my recooked order arrived. The free dessert the manager offered was fine, but quite frankly, I should have had my dish removed from the bill. Do better North Italia!

The food isn’t consistent I have visited this location 5x since opening. The menu doesn’t have a variety as before and other locations.

It was our first time for four of us. Small & expensive portions and overpriced wine bottles. Our waitress from Bronx New York was Exceptional!

My second visit left items to be corrected: 1: It took 15 minutes for me to get a glass of ice water when I arrived at 1:30; 2: our appetizer arrived after our entree; 3: the entrees were barely warm. Also, I was not able to hear our waitress - due to the noise level.

This was my second visit to the Birkdale location and it was as great as the first. Food and service were both top notch . Highly recommend!

Another great evening here at the newly opened North Italia in Birkdale Village. The ambiance is very nice and welcoming, clean not too loud. The food was very good and their accommodation to changing our things on the menu was welcomed and appreciated. Very nice evening with family.

Really surprising quality! I had low expectations considering its parent company was the Cheesecake Factory. But despite that the food was actually delicious. They did however forget it was my wife’s birthday at the end and we didn’t want to make a fuss. Really the only downside. Otherwise it was a great menu!

Have visited the Southend location multiple times - expected an equal dining experience It’s was 90 degrees plus last Sunday - we sat inside - they had the doors wide open - so it was 90 degrees plus inside - no air conditioning - people sat down and then would get up and leave once they realized how hot it was …. Drinks came without ice in them - I can’t make it up - we had to ask for ice …. We waited 75 mins for our appetizers …. Mains came 30 mins later - sat looking into the kitchen … lots of talking, laughing, checking phones but not a lot of food coming out We were told quote “we have a scratch kitchen so it takes time for the food to be made” - I would hate to see how long it would take for a complex appetizer but we ordered meatballs and bread with olive oil Almost 2 hours to get served pasta ….. Poor management - poor staffing - poor poor poor Will not be going back
