   The steaks were excellent. Truly. The sides were very good, but slightly undercooked. Broccolini and the carrots were both pretty hard. but the flavors and presentation were very good. It is an expensive meal. For this price, it should be perfect.

   Very expensive. Competing with Chandlers with a much more limited menu and higher prices. I wish them luck.

   Food was excellent, albeit somewhat on the higher price range. Steaks were cooked to perfection and the sides of carrots and mashed potatoes were great. Definitely loved the bread service, done very differently than you might expect and that was a nice, tasty surprise.

   This was one of the best date night locations we’ve been to in Boise! The Steaks and drinks were AMAZING! Definitely worth every penny! I highly recommend Hemlock for your next special night out!

   Disappointing. The ambience was not at all warm, welcoming, and simply elegant like Richards was. Additionally, we sat at our table for a bit before being greeted by our server even though the restaurant was not particularly busy. The server was quite helpful but the staff were not overly friendly. Our salad was delicious but our steak was extremely overpriced: $72.00 for a piece the size of two thin hamburgers. Yikes!!! Thus, the two star rating.

   Our server Gary made an already great experience that much better. He was charismatic and engaged in our experience and really made the evening feel special! And as it should, it’s not a cheap night out! 4 people and we brought our own wine and is was still almost $500. However ambiance was lovely and the food was delicious - the bread service was so good! Definitely will be back for another special night out with good friends!

   Dined here for our anniversary. It was so loud felt like a night club. They were blasting loud radio music and everyone was having to talk loud. I could barely hear my hubby at the table. They promised live piano ambience and missed the mark completely. We paid $75 for our steaks and never received our side potatoes for two since they were backed up. Not impressed and would not go again.

    I saw this new place on the news 2 weeks ago and decided to book our Anniversary Dinner there for my husband and I. Upon arrival {we were about 15 minutes early} we were greeted by the hostess who advised us that the table would be ready in 10 minutes and if we could wait in the bar. So, we headed to the bar and had a drink while we listened to the music. The bar tender was very nice! In about ten minutes we were escorted to our table and handed our menus. These menus were highlighted with a greeting to us and wishing us a Happy Anniversary! What an amazing touch! Both my husband and I ordered the onion soup and grilled ceaser salad as starters, then followed by steaks, bake potato for two and the carrots. The meal was amazing. The service was excellent and the staff were great! This was such a fun night for us and we highly recommend them!
