   Our service was a bit spotty. Had to wait for a while to get our first look from our waitress. The berratta salad was excellent but our pizza was served not hot. We had the short rib pizza that was not served hot and lacking in the meat. It could have been good. With all the great pizza and Italian restaurants in Sarasota, this one did not stand out. In fact its neighbor, rosemary and thyme is far superior.

   The food was very good but the service slow. They were packed and they are new. I think our server was either management or an owner. She said that two servers called out sick on a busy Saturday night. So, they did the best they could. They will work it out. It was a good experience and we will return. The patio dining was exceptional.

   Overwhelmed describes the experience. Service was haphazard. Little care. Friendly and nice staff but they were kind of cranky with each other. Hurried. Dirty wine glass. Don’t bring more water. Took away my bread plate as I was putting food on it! There’s a pile of stuff in the corner of their patio that felt like we were sitting in someone’s unkempt backyard. There were umbrellas and propane heathers and spare tanks. Just wasn’t what I wanted to look at during my evening out. Food is moderately expensive and the ambiance makes an attempt at upscale and this was annoying. Our wait person never told us about specials and they don’t accommodate gluten free diets. Or, if they do they don’t say it on the menu. For a hot day and an early dinner would be nice to have some lighter options. No fish, no chicken without breading and sauce. Ordered arugula salad with chicken. Salad was tasty with a nice light dressing but chicken was dry and crumbly and tough at the same time?! Cooked yesterday? Save your money. Eat elsewhere.

   First time at Pazzo. Servers were frenetic. We were told that they were short staffed. We had to specifically ask for a server after sitting at our table for several minutes....no water, so silverware, no bread and when we finally got bread, we had no bread plates. The outdoor seating area was overly packed with people and it was almost impossible to speak to the person with me unless we shouted. Tables were far too close together. We were not told what the specials werre on the menu. We ordered their veal "Our Way" and the eggplant parmesan. The Eggplant dish was outstanding...cooked perfectly with a wonderful fresh tomato sauce and pasta. The Veal was dried out, tough; overcooked and was far too salty. Given this experience, we would not usually return, but we will go back in the heat of the summer when it is much less crowded and hope that it is a better evening. We want them to succeed as a business and will try them again.

   Dinner at Pazzo on 9range friday evening and we had an amazing first experience at their new location. Service and Food were on point and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The LOBSTER RISOTTO deserves a special mention as it was divine (generous portion of lobster in this dish). We sat in the outdoor patio which exudes so much charm and is definitely worth it (weather was very pleasant). The live but music (violinist) was a very nice touch (music was gentle, soft, and in the background so as not to disturb our dinner) We are local and have previously dined at the original Pazzo on Osprey in Southside Village years ago and are very happy they are back at this new and charming location. Wonderful experience!

   We celebrated my friend’s 75th birthday on Pazzo on Orange’s lovely outdoor patio. The service was great! The food was awesome! And the entire experience will be memorable for everyone in our group. Very well done!

   This restaurant owner doesn’t get it - when there is feedback that he doesn’t like he goes ballistic. And he lies. When I - and others in my party - posted reviews elsewhere, he responded and accused us of being loud when expressing our frustration and then threatened to call the police if we didn’t leave. No one was loud - he was very obviously having an awful night which was his own fault - and the person next to us complained right after us. So instead of being smart - and offering to fix things somehow - he actually escalated things. Dumb as a rock. This is a group of six 60ish year old women who have better things to do than deal with this nutjob after quite possibly the worst service I have had in years. We were there over three hours. He claims, responding to another review my friend left on Yelp, that he comped some of our ordered drinks and desserts which NEVER happened. We have the receipts. I wouldn’t bother going near this place. Who knows what you might have to deal with … and don’t you dare bring up any issues or frustrations, even nicely. He’ll lose his mind.

   Rediscovered my go to place. Sat outside in the comfy courtyard. Our server was attentive, and efficient. Wine pours were ample, the prices reasonable(12-15$ for a good pour) and a well thought out wine by the glass selection. Pizza crust was crisp and not over doughy, the pesto , garlic and cheese toppings were perfect. Caesar salad was crisp, dressed well and tasted just as I like, as was the eggplant parmesan . Easy to share everything.
