    Worst food I’ve ever had especially at these prices. Party of 8 seated over hour after reservations. Bourbon selection is terrible and steak was generic like Uncle Rico’s mother’s red beef steak. Go run and never look at this place. TOO MANY GREAT RESTAURANTS IN PGH

    The elegance of this restaurant was super nice! I had the crab and shrimp stuffed salmon which was a chefs choice for the night and it was divine. I went for my birthday and the drinks were amazing.

    Food is awesome! Restaurant was just very crowded and while I’ll server was great, the entrees took over 2 hours to get. Our server told us there were a couple large private parties on top of all the tables being full so the kitchen was just overwhelmed. Unfortunately we had 2 young children with us so it was quite stressful for the parents for the wait to be that long. Our server did apologize and thanked us for our patience.

    We waited an hour to be served after being seated. Service was not sub-average but the manager took responsibility and made a good faith effort to correct the situation. I would dine there again but only if it was not before a show, play or concert.

    We have dined here several times before and always had a decent experience. However, for the price there are far better restaurants in the area. The service last night was awful. Our appetizers came out before we received our first round of drinks. We had to ask for our drinks because they were taking so long. When our food arrived. My daughter's steak was rare when she requested medium and my son received the wrong type of steak. The server returned both steaks to the kitchen while the rest of us waited to eat, 15 minutes later the correct steak came out. When the bill finally came, we charged for a martini we didn't order. There was no apology for all of the mistakes during our dinner. With all of the options in downtown Pittsburgh, we will definitely no be returning to McCormick & Schmicks.

    The restaurant ran out of their signature lobster tail by 6:30pm. Their cheese cake was not good and pricey for the small portions.
