The food was delicious, but the service was slow and spotty.
2nd time in this old jail. It was a last minute booking and there were not a lot of options.
Food was good, not as high quality as the price demanded. Our server was stressed and not very engaging.
When we walked into a music/DJ in bar area at 6:45 with music blaring we almost left.
I'll go again, maybe but won't go out of may way/
Two of our party were late due to delays on the Red Line
But our waiter could not have been nicer
Great service amazing atmosphere awesome food
We had a great meal at precinct, husband’s filet was amazing, our burgers were delicious.
The Precinct, as advertised, is more than friendly to Gluten Free folks/Celiac sufferers. Our first time there and we were so pleased. Menu, almost entirely, can be made GF. Their fryers are GF because they use ONLY RICE FLOUR, no wheat, according to our server. We enjoyed Fish and Chips which my husband thought he might never eat again :) The scallops (chose the 1/2 portion) were delicious with interesting side dishes. We shared a GF Boston Cream Pie Dessert - more like a GF biscuit immersed in nice dark chocolate sauce and some whipped cream, we think = delicious and not 'strangely GF' !!! The place is very busy; we had reservations. Noisy but not as noisy as the bar next to the restaurant where young people seem to congregate from 5 pm on..................the host was quite gracious and the server apologized since the kitchen did not make the scallops when the fish/chips arrived. GF bread with olive oil was pretty good as well. In addition, if you are attending a performance at the Lyric Stage, don't forget to show your tickets and receive a 20% discount. Good Value!
Great food and customer service. Bryce is the best bartender! Highly recommend for drinks/food!
The Stranger Things Pop Up was amazing! Very well done and authentic! We loved it!!
Our server was so kind, the food was delicious and they had a Stranger Things pop up bar on the other side of the restaurant so we picked a few fun drinks and food items from that menu and then went over to that side after dinner. We will definitely be back!
The food was very good - only nick in the armor for us was entree described with eggplant as lead ingredient had none which could be seen or tasted. The burger was outstanding - one of best I have had. The fish entree was outstanding. The service was perfect - we had a great bottle of wine.
Came for the stranger things pop up- super fun and food was outstanding!
Visiting my son in college for family weekend.
Good stuff! Enjoyed the gluten free options. Very nice setting. Waiter was very friendly and helpful.
Charceuterie Board was very generous!! All in all food and drinks were excellent. Great Back Bay location too.
Showed up for my confirmed sitting on 10/17 only to be told the whole place was taken over for a private party! What kind of joint is this? They should be kicked out of Open Table...I’ll certainly never go there again.
Great location. Food and service was excellent. One of the better places for lunch in the Back Bay.
My boyfriend and I had brunch here because the menu looked good and it was inside the hotel where we stayed. The selections were very good and they were able to accommodate a gluten-free diet. The build-your-own Bloody Mary option was awesome, the food was very fresh and served promptly, and our server was great - attentive and helpful when I had questions about the menu. Brunch at Precinct was a great way to end our quick weekend getaway.
Wonderful restaurant with great service. Will definitely be back again. The charcuterie plate was outstanding!
Cool vibes and great food.
Great spot before show at the Lyric. Enjoyed everything. Service was a little off since they were slammed with guests just before we arrived. Lovely outdoor patio.
Amazing, Claire was an awesome server! Had a blast for a birthday gathering. We sat outside and had a blast under the cute lights!
Nice patio but wouldn't go back. Food was all over the place. Fries arrived cold and the cauliflower was undercooked but the hummus plate was delicious. Good wine selection but service was lackluster and lacked attention to detail.
We had a phenomenal dinner, our server was wonderful. Would highly recommend!
A great atmosphere and staff was knowledable about the menu
It was loud. Very loud. I grew accustomed to it, but I think that's because the doors were open. Speaking of said doors, I was very nervous about that because it was SO humid out, and I was worried that it would be humid sitting with the doors open, but it was OK.
My margarita tasted good, but it had WAY TOO MUCH ICE. It was a in a normal-sized rocks glass, and after a few sips, it was nothing but ice. I almost and should have said something about this to the server. But I didn't.
Menu was good-size, though it seemed to have too much seafood for this fish-hater. I would have liked more non-fish and non-beef options.
Everything I had was delicious. My charcuterie plate was huge. My burrata was excellent. My deviled eggs were flavorful without being overdone.
Our server, whose name I regretfully forget, was excellent--concerned, friendly, and efficient. She had blond hair pulled back and a slight accent. It was Wednesday (09/26/18). I hope they know who I mean.
Awful food. Over cooked everything
The only saving grace was our server. Older gentleman was excellent. He should work at a restaurant that matches his service!
Maybe it was a busy Saturday in the Theater District, while the ambiance and bar seemed OK, the food and subsequent value left something to be desired. Calamari app was good and it’s hard to mess up a side of broccoli; at the same time the eggplant entree had minimal of the aforementioned eggplant, the kids Mac n Cheese was greasy and broken, the Caesar salad was heavily dressed, and while the veal meatballs had good flavor they were dry and burnt in some spots. One can see why any price tag, let alone one over $100 would be disappointing.
Great place for lunch & after hours. Wouldn't recommend if you're trying to talk business during lunch. Extremely noisy!!
We loved the Precinct Kitchen + Bar (we ate in the restaurant section). The menu was very creative, the food was beautifully presented, and our waiter (Omar) was excellent. If you want a casual dinner spot with great food and service, this is it!
The food and service are the best. The Branzino and clam boil are to die for.
Great, quick meal for a business lunch.
Great meal! Great service! Great cocktails!
Fine meal in a nice setting. Restaurant is below street level in Lowe's hotel. Prices higher than $
So fun and great service, menu. We loved it. We were a group of older women and young daughters and so fun for all.
Great food and service. We will definitely be going back the next time we are in Boston.
Our server was so incredibly professional. He made our meal! I’m sorry I cannot remember the gentleman‘s name, but I think he said he has been there for about 15 years. The space is cool, the only issue is the noise from the bar From the after work crowd, it was packed and looked like fun if you were in that phase of life.
Very good service and food is always good. Can be noisy but that’s part of the atmosphere. If you’re in a rush during lunch, they can get you in/out within 45 minutes.
My wife & I ate prior to a concert at Fenway- atmosphere -Great, Food-excellent menu offered lots of variety, Staff-Top Notch very attentive & efficient... we were so impressed with dinner we went back the following day for Brunch.. Outstanding!! Omelette was awesome & the coffee pancakes a must for anyone who enjoys coffee!!! Enjoy!
I was thrilled to find out that mostly everything on the menu can be gluten free. The waiter, Greg, was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating and gave excellent service. I would eat here again.
