Precinct is always a great experience. The food is good, drinks are delicious and service is never a problem. The setup both inside and out is inviting and comfortable. The food / drinks are a bit on the pricier side but worth it.

The outdoor patio is lovely, and the retractable awning was key when it started to sprinkle a bit. Food was delicious, and Omar was an outstanding server. Prices were a bit on the high side, but it is the Back Bay, so that was not a surprise...

Dinner was delicious. I had the surf & turf and my husband had the swordfish. The chocolate cake was to die for. Service was excellent. We felt very comfortable and at ease dining here because the staff took great care to keep the guest feeling safe. They wore mask at all times and was constantly changing gloves. Great place for date night! Will be back.

Sous chef has stepped in and the food is better than ever! All three of us sampled different items on the restaurant week menu and each was delicious! We were left to enjoy our time. No one rushed us. Outdoor space is one of the very best in Boston.

Made a reservation for the patio but asked to sit inside near the bar because it was raining outside. Wait staff was extremely helpful in finding us a table that we liked. The bar staff that waited on us were awesome and the Restaurant Week menu was amazing. I originally chose this restaurant because of their Orin Swift wine selection (Abstract being our favorite). We branched out and tried a different bottle of wine and it was amazing, Soul of a Lion. We will be returning soon to try their highly rated selection of charcuterie boards that look amazing!

Great experience!! They had both heated and open air outdoor seating available. All staff had masks and gloves on and were clear about expectations for going in and using the restrooms. The ambiance was great and I felt very safe at one of my first times going out to a restaurant since the reopening. Food & drink was great as usual!

Cute little spot. We sat outdoors on a questionable rainy night. But they had an overhead shade (and of course in door seating). The only con was the fact that we were close to the Main Street. But nice little date night spot or for an intimate setting

Went out for a birthday dinner, we don’t get out a ton but wanted to try somewhere new. Randomly selected here in open table and everything we had was amazing. The server was quick and efficient. We had a cheese board to start, everything was fresh and delicious. My fiancé got the steak and was blown away at how tender it was. I got the lobster roll, and it was by far the best one I’ve had. Definitely need to try the lava cake, not the tradition cakey outside with fudge it the middle. It was solid but then melted in your mouth. We will be back!

This was my first time dining out since the beginning of the pandemic. I was a big nervous, but when I showed up I immediately saw all of the precautions being taken. There are clear barriers between tables, you're required to wear a mask when you're not sitting at the table, our server wore a mask and gloves at all times, and you're not seated too close to other patrons. The food was good, and the drinks were better (strawberry smash). I've been before a few times, and I've never had less than a great experience at Precinct in any way.

We really enjoyed our family dinner and birthday celebration-nice that our fantastic server Greg encouraged our vegetarian “adjustments” and worked really hard to make sure everyone was happy. Look forward to next visit!

We have a lovely Valentine’s Day dinner here! Our server Omar was attentive and friendly. He made sure we stayed on schedule so we would make our play. The food was delicious — lobster risotto and gnocchi with braised beef. We realized as we started eating that we forgot our play tickets, a huge problem! We found the PDF, e-mailed it to the manager and he printed them for us! He saved the night! We will definitely be back when we have more time and to tell them we made it to the play. :)

What a bar scene! Thankfully, the restaurant part is a bit removed from the loud bar scene (great for after work and Friday nights!). We had a pre-theatre time and the service was excellent. Fast, attentive, and courteous. The appetizers (octopus and deviled eggs) were good. The eggs were a bit mustardy and the octopus wasn't too tender. However, the accompaniments helped each dish. My scallops were good - but not necessarily $34 good. My husband's fish and chips were fine. Nothing extraordinary or out-of-the-box creative but fine, solid food.

While I think the bar area is great, the dining experience was severely lacking. We had a group of 6 from my work, and most of us were unhappy with the meals, thinking the Steaks served were rather tasteless, which was surprising. I ordered the Braised Beef Gnocchi, which was very mushy. I sent it back and asked for seared scallops, which were OK, but nothing I couldn't have made with minimal effort at home, and for the prices they charge I expect much better. Very disappointing. The wait staff were not friendly, but stone faced and grim. Although we will probably be back for drinks in the bar, this will be the last time we will come here for dinner.
