   Great atmosphere! The staff is a major factor in the energy of the over fun factor. I haven't had that much fun in a long time and cant wait to go back

   Johnny Utah's has great hearty servings of food, the atmosphere is energetic and fun! They should however add servers...our server was so busy, we were left a few times sitting at the table trying to get her attention...

   I went with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday and we had a blast. There were 8 of us so they gave us our own room. Service was very good, great selection of food and a really fun vibe. Riding the bull was so much fun and the people were really friendly. Also ordered the sangria in the cowboy boot. Overall, a great experience!! Would highly recommend and plan on going back.

   Food was bland, not appetizing. Even the diet coke had a weird taste, must have been RC Much to noisy. You could not hear yourself talk.

   I had brought my son and his friend not realizing it was going to be loud but the crowd was good and energetic.. we had a good time the waitress was very friendly the hostess was super friendly too.. amd even staff that passed by was so friendly too. The calamari was awesome the chicken fingers were great and there was so many of them... I got chicken fajitas there was such a large portion I couldnt finish it all. We would definetly go back.

   As we entered, there was no host or hostess at the door to greet us, and it was several minutes before one finally appeared. We then told her we had a reservation and she said, "Ok please bear with me for a few minutes." Several more minutes went by before we were seated, well after our reservation time came and went. Another wait followed as we waited for our waitress. When she finally arrived, she apologized for the delay - saying they were short-staffed. Then the tablet device she apparently needed to take our order wasn't working. Another apology, another wait. When our dinner finally arrived (more than 30 minutes after our reservation time), it was very good. But it couldn't overcome the insufferable and inexplicable delays.

   One flight underground we were greeted by garbage bags. The food was not very good. The awesome waitress was slammed because they didn’t have enough staff. Totally avoid. Danger!

    Thought the food was good, very affordable for NYC. I think the place has potential but as others have stated the service is lacking. I knew that going in so not really expecting much. Waitress was pleasant and got us what we asked for just took a little time.

    Service very slow , and not very crowded . Had to request water several times . This was the second time we dined here , and enjoyed the atmosphere and food very much . Great place to visit in the location . Enjoyed the food and drinks . But was never asked if we wanted more cocktails. Was disappointed that our bill included an automatic 20 percent gratuity for a group of 5 .

    We almost did no go based in the recent very bad reviews... Good thing for us we decided to give it a go anyway. The place does loom “odd” and iffy... service from the hostess and the waitress is mediocre... kitchen staff are very nice... But the food is very above average... nice selection... Nice little familly place!

    I didn't expect a Western themed bar with a mechanical bull to be fine dining, but the place was dirty. The food was mediocre and the service was terrible. The server was hardly around when we needed something and she was on her phone most of the time. We had to ask the busser for the bill and it took another 10 minutes to get that. If the place was busy, I would understand. But, there was hardly anyone in the place (which should have been a sign).

    Absolutely worse experience ever!!! No service for an hour, water after 45 minutes, Bull didn’t work, one person said it did one Sadi it didn’t, very frustrating!

    When we walked in for our reservation, there was approximately 4 tables yet it took over an hour for the food to come and when it did, it was cold and undercooked. The food is average. There was a mechanical bull which was a good distraction for families that came in after us while they were waiting for their food.

    It was a lot of fun. Relaxed but exciting atmosphere. The service was great! Never felt rushed.The food was excellent. I highly recommend making the reservation. The night we went they were not accepting walk ins. I would definitely go back.

    Arrived for reservation at 5pm- early. Asked hostess for a high chair. She dropped us off at table and disappeared. Stuck standing holding wiggly toddler until finally my husband got up and found one. Waitress took order and was very slow to bring drinks. Took 45 minutes to bring food- sandwiches in a restaurant that was maybe 30% full. When we asked waitress to check on it (kids started getting restless) she apologized and said she’d check on it and get us a free drink. But then stopped at a table of her friends next to us and proceeded to chat with them for more than 5 minutes. It was unreal. Food didn’t come until another 5 minutes after that. Took forever to get the bill. Didn’t need the free drink. Needed better service. We purposely ate early because we have two small children and didn’t want the restaurant to be busy. Lost my business.

    More of a bar than a restaurant. Lots of drink choices. Food was good - ribs tender but very fatty. Sliders and sides good. Mechanical bull was fun.

    It took 18 minutes for a server to approach us and the restaurant was not busy. A $38 steak ordered medium-rare came out half well done and half medium. Rest of the food was extremely subpar for the price. The trivia game and the trivia host were nice but won't be coming back.

    First of all, I don't agree with the description of energetic for the noise level. It was more annoyingly loud than energetic. I was expecting something similar to Texas Roadhouse but, felt more like we were at a Hooter's! This was one of the few places we were able to reserve a table at while we were in NYC. We showed up a little early, there were open tables everywhere so we did get in earlier than reserved. However, when we made it down stairs and inside I thought we'd walked through the back door. The hostess was sitting down with someone else and eating her own plate of food. Took her a while to even greet us. Once she raced us to our table we had to wait seven minutes for a server to acknowledge us. There was only one other full table in her area. She wasn't friendly either and still don't know her name. The restaurant doesn't offer a gluten free menu so I had to take a chance and hope I didn't get sick. We ordered the fajitas to share thinking the meat should be prepared safely. When it arrived my first thought was it was the frozen, ready to heat sliced fajita meats. They added so much paprika and seasoning the peppers and onions couldn't be tasted. My side of broccoli came later after I reminded them there was one. The kitchen staff who served that was much friendlier than our waitress. This was just an unfriendly experience and not an establishment I'd recommend while in NYC.

    We have arrived after 4 pm and asked for a table. We have been informed that they only take reservation not walk-in guests. So we’ve checked the website and it’s showed free table at 5pm. We’ve booked it. We went back at 5pm and the hostess ( who was rude and unhelpful) said we won’t get a table because the reservation was made not long time ago. We have been advised by a nicer lady that kitchen is busy so we have to wait 20-30 minutes ( we said not a problem). Than the rude hostess came back shouted at us “ you made this reservation 5 minutes ago you won’t get a table”. We made this reservation because that woman said before they only take reservations now. The restaurant was almost empty and we showed them that we have reservation through their website but they did not honor it.

    We visited this past weekend and had a horrible experience. We were ignored for 10 minutes upon entering, ignored for 30 minutes once seated and needed to ask to be helped. Service was slow and unfriendly. Food was mediocre at best. I would not recommend this restaurant.

    It is hard to fairly comment on the quality of the food because the appetizers were cold and were delivered to our table about a minute before the entrees arrived. So by the time we got to the entree's they were cold. Could have sent the entrees back until we were ready for them but under a heat lamp or cold we lose.

    Wet loud. Bar tenders pouring shots in people’s mouths from standing on the bar in skimpy clothing. Not a place to bring your family. Unfortunately we had a 7 Year old and 4 year old with us. People without reservations were being sat prior to our party. Seemed to be very slow in the restaurant but still took a while for our food. We won’t be back.

    Wait staff was decent but a little annoying. Ordered the southern fried chicken sandwich. It was the size of a White Castle slider. Bathroom are basically ports johns inside. Not hip Overall unpleasant experience Would kit return

    Well for starters they opened late. Then three items on the menus they did not have and the Coffeys machine was broken. The food we did get was ok. Nothing to write home about. Would not go back.

    waited 45 minutes for our order to be taken, waited another 45 minutes to get food. Super SLOW service, inattentive staff. finally got our food after asking for someone to call the manager who was offsite. might be why the place is so poorly staffed and run if management isn't even on site. The table next to us got their food and left before we got served. would NEVER go there again.

    We were disappointed. We were seated quickly but had to wait a while before getting menus. Then they were out of several appetizers we were going to order. When our food came out we still had no napkins or utensils. We flagged down someone to ask for them but noone came . The restaurant was not busy, there were plenty of empty tables. Then someone in our party went to the bar to ask for them. By the time we got utensils and napkins our food had started to get cold. Unfortunately we did not have a great experience.

    Was a real shame had been looking forward to this meal had booked back in the UK and was left really disappointed. It felt tired and a bit grubby, bucking broncho not working. Plastic pots for sauces etc. Mains were really poor worse meal we had in NY. My wife was sick for the rest of our stay and she only had the vegetarian burger. I’m normally easy going but I was almost insulted that the tip suggested was 25% of the meal. This was by far the highest we had come across. Of course we paid it but part of me really wanted to speak with the manager. It wasn’t cheap and too be honest we just wanted too get out. Worse part of our Christmas trip. It was the one we was looking forward too most and the only venue we had pre booked back home. Wouldn’t return when we come back in the New Year. Maybe we caught them on a bad night. But first impressions stay with you. Shame Jared, Lucy and Kids
