We were greeted promptly upon walking in, and there was easy parking across the street .We mainly went to Black Jacks for the Wednesday night prime rib and shrimp special $25 for a 14 ounce prime rib and a skewer of shrimp . My husband wanted the prime rib special and he ended up upgrading for an additional $15 to have the lobster instead of the shrimp along with the prime rib. I ordered the black Angus 8 ounce filet mignon with asparagus and coleslaw . Both of our meals came out, underdone on the beef, but was promptly taken back to the kitchen to have them cooked to the correct temperature and the server was very apologetic . The fillet was excellent, and the price was quite reasonable for an 8 ounce fillet with two sides . My husband’s prime rib was still a little underdone maybe because it was so thick, but the lobster was overdone and wast very tasty. All in all the food for the price was a very good value. It still was a pleasurable experience and I will try them again on a future occasion.

Not impressed. This will definitely be a one-and-done experience. Food was lackluster, in fact sent one dish back.

My wife and Iwent here on a wednesday night for the prime rib special. keep in mind It's not J Alexanders or Kaluz, but for $25.00 it's pretty damn good! It comes with a skewer of grilled shrimp on top, veggies, and mashed potatoes! A great value. It's not the best prime rib in town, but cant beat the price !! Drinks are fantastic. My wife had the churrasco. It was very under cooked but once cooked to correct temp it was fantastic! This was my second time there, first time i went for lunch and had a burger. The burger was very good! I will be back soon.

I’ve come here a couple of times now and although the food is delicious, there are ALWAYS flies around. It doesn’t matter if the doors/windows are closed or open, there are flies swarming your drinks & food. Service is usually good, except for yesterday. Larry was a bit crude and did not offer any suggestions on the menu when we asked. He was slow to bring us water, and returning to take our orders, he seemed frustrated by our existence. The food is always delicious here but I don’t think I’ll be back to dine in any time soon.

When we arrived for our reservation there was a staff meeting and the restaurant was closed. We had to wait outside for them to allow us inside. Once allowed inside, we sat ourselves. The server only offered still or sparkling water. As we were a little frazzled from the heat and the wait we didn’t quite think that through. She brought a bottle of water. This is not the type of restaurant that you would expect bottled water, it’s a casual bar, not dine dining. Moving past that we asked for a soda which she quickly stated they didn’t carry. So we asked, what was available and she did not respond. She just asked if we wanted to order food. I said, we were not ready for food, we wanted to know the drink options. She didn’t know what they were and had to look them up. Clearly at this point we are not happy with the service but had read many great reviews about the food so we maintained optimistic. We ordered the ceviche and the conch fritters. Both were delicious. Unfortunately we didn’t realize they had a brunch menu so we were not able to order some of the items in their regular menu. But, the food didn’t disappear. We ordered The churrasco steak and eggs with house potatoes. The steak was tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned. It came with scrambled eggs that were good, I would have preferred fried but they didn’t give me the option. We also ordered the chicken and pineapple salad. The chicken and dressing were delicious. They put it on a bed of mixed greens to make it look like it’s a huge portion and everything gets lost in there. We also ordered the pineapple fried rice with shrimp. This was a nice sized portion and we all enjoyed it. For dessert, we had the dulce de leche lava cake. Definitely wanna share this one. It’s is sooo sweet. We enjoyed our lunch, but the service missed the mark. It was also very loud for a lunch. There were only 3 other parties and the music was blaring. We were shouting to talk to each other.
