We to find out the restaurant had been closed for a week from the front desk at the hotel. This was extremely disappointing as I planned this dinner for my wife's birthday We were never notified by MAV or Open Table, the service used to book the reservation. I called twice earlier in the week to double confirm and didn't get any answer. I just figured they were busy. I got an email Saturday to confirm w/ Open Table so I thought everything was good to go. Note: This was through a Pulsd deal. I emailed Pulsd and was quickly assured that this would be taken care of and my funds returned for the voucher(will post an update once received). Very disappointed in the restaurant for not alerting people to their closing and not monitoring or alerting customers that they were not open. Fingers crossed but check w/ the hotel the restaurant is in before booking as the website was still live and taking reservations ‍

Returned with some out of town visitors for an early dinner! We had the best time. Staff was really welcoming and very accommodating with the dietary restrictions for one of us. The lamb is amazing, super aromatic and tender. The New Yorker in Italy is my new favorite cocktail! Can’t wait to come back again with more friends. Grazie Mille!

Food was very below expectation and service was terrible. We returned the seafood pasta as it looked and tasted like it had come out of a microwave to which they let us choose something else. Our server was barely present to check on us or see how the new dish was, therefore we asked if it was possible to cover an app or round of drinks. The manager point blank told us that because we ate the food, this was not a food and beverage problem so we are more than welcome to not tip our server. Coming from someone who works in the service industry, this experience was really something else and we will not be returning.

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful meal and experience at MAV. From the greeting at the the front door to our leaving (2 hours later) everything was perfect. The food was outstanding, from the crostini, to the ravioli carbonara to the rack to lamb to dessert. Service was friendly and professional. We will return.

Had an amazing experience here! The menu is so inventive and has a great variety. We had the Into the blue risotto dish which was equally delicious as beautiful. My friend tried the Rosa di lasagna and I had to steal a couple bites because it looked so good. The wine selection was amazing and the staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in finding the right wine for our meal. Will definitely be back!

Amazing food and amazing environment! I loved the Cecina (a chickpea tortillas with buttata and shrimps) and “into the blue”, a blue risotto with smoked caviar! The environment is elegant and fancy but also romantic. I would recommend this place for any occasion, a Birthday Party or romantic dinner or a business meeting.

We had a birthday celebration for my husband over the weekend at Mav Soho. From the charcuterie and cheese platter to the candy cart the food was delicious. Modern spin on classic Italian, everyone loved each of their plates. Be sure to stop at the rooftop bar for a drink the views are beautiful.

We made a reservation that we did not need- the restaurant was almost empty. We ordered the breakfast pastry basket which was not available because the items had not been delivered to the restaurant. The description for the frittata stated that it comes with home fries, small salad. After receiving the home fries only and questioning this we were told that it comes with one or the other. The menu did not say “or” and we were not asked which we wanted when ordering. And when we received the check an 18% tip was added and there was no mention of this on the menu. Wr would have left more but didn’t. I sent the hotel an email (there was no email address fir the restaurant)!about this and my email was ignored. The wait staff was nice and the food we got was good. The location is very out-of-the-way. We will never return.

If your taste buds are a bit adventurous, then this is a find. Drinks and wine were wonderful, with the opportunity to taste the Tuscans before buying them. Lovely presentation and intimate setting were highlights.

Fantastic place in SoHo! The salumeria with all the cheese and meat from italy is insane, then we try the lasagna rose shape was AMAZING my girlfriend try the short ribs Milanese with foie gras super soft and juice, chef know what he doing there, the sommelier give us great advice on the wine thanks Remi for the incredibile hospitality! Definitely will come back! Thanks Mav for the experience !

Grazie MAV SOHO for an amazing experience. My girlfriend and I enjoyed our anniversary dinner, especially the Short Ribs and the Bonfire Lamb. Service and setting are wonderful. Good spot for special occasions. Lots of attention to detail all around. We are already planning our next visit.

SO excited about new MAV SOHO! Had a really lovely dinner last night with a few close friends. We had the Beet Tartare and Caprese to start; the Lasagna di Rosa, Ravioli, and Into the Blue for pasta; the Octopus alla Luciana, Short Ribs, and Salmon for mains. Truffle Cheesecake for dessert. Everything was beautiful from start to finish. For wine- they do quartinos (~2 glasses), carafe, and bottle. Easy way to share/ try new wines. I started with a Spritz, my friends had Vermentino, then we got a bottle of red. Service was super approachable, polite, and friendly. Space is beautiful. Will be back soon! Grazie!

Shockingly good food. The lasagna was insanely good. The salmon was delicious and the lamb was quite good. They are still in their soft-opening phase and so kitchen timing isn't perfect, but the food is stellar.

We had a 8pm dinner reservation for 3 ppl, arrived on time and we were seated right away, put in our drink orders with our appetizer, our drinks were delicious and came within 10minutes but our appetizers took an hour to get, they kept apologizing but crazy that cheese and salami's took that long...our main meals came about 15 minutes after appetizers. food was ok, small plates so if you have a big appetite, order accordingly
