Contemporary Italian
Italian food lovers can rejoice: Emmy-Award winning celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis has opened her first-ever restaurant, GIADA inside The Cromwell.
This charming Las Vegas restaurant welcomes diners with warm colors, comfortable furniture and natural lighting thanks to the restaurant’s huge retractable windows. Guests can eat in the dining room, lounge or at window tables, boasting breathtaking views of the Bellagio fountains and Caesars Palace.
The menu consists of Italian cuisine with refreshing, Californian influences. Menu items include lemon spaghetti, chicken cacciatore, marsala herb chicken meatballs, rosemary focaccia and lemon flatbread and vegetable Bolognese rigatoni. GIADA adds a lighter touch to Italian dishes, all while staying true to classic Italian recipes.
There are family-style options, along with a vegan and gluten-free menu options. Desserts, like the lemon ricotta cookies and sorbets, serve as the perfect ending.

This was my first time at Giada. Really enjoyed It and my dish (Canneloni). My husband liked his panini but it was misleading because it was not cooked in any way like a panini as we know it. The Dolce Vita was an excellent non alcoholic cocktail. My only criticism is that they make the servers talk too long about the food. It was exhaustingly long. And the poor girls monologue on dessert was so detailed we just decided to forget it after her explanations. They really should shorten what the severs have to say.
Otherwise loved Giada and we will return.

Giada's food is very mediocre at best for the price. The best part of the meal was the cheese platter that we ordered and the bread that came with our meal. Even the dessert we had was so-so. The ambiance was nice and the service was good, but I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Ordered Oyster Rockefeller, Ricotta Crostini for starters. Delish. Lobster Ravioli and Rigatoni for entrees. (Good not mind blowing). Lemon cookies were to die for.

Rocco, our waiter, was phenomenal. He walked us through the menu as if he wrote it. He made excellent suggestions, at our request, and made the entire experience unforgettable. We will definitely be back to enjoy the fantastic food and hospitality.

My wife and I went there for our 9th anniversary and the food, atmosphere, and service didn’t disappoint. The only thing that left us feeling a bit strange was the free dessert for our anniversary. It was two cookies. I mean I’m grateful for a free anything, but most of the elegant restaurants I’ve been to give you a choice and say it’s on them or give you something big enough to share. The cookies were really dry too. Left a strange taste on what was a stellar experience.

The breads and toppings were good. We had bacon wrapped dates and stuffed mini peppers for appetizers. The bacon wrapped dates were wonderful. The peppers, not so much. We ordered pasta fagioli soup. It was served beautifully but had a clear broth and green stuff floating on top. The pasta was not even aldente and the soup tasted burned. I think the crumbled kale leaves were burned. We could not eat it but it was taken off our bill. We shared the chicken cacciatore for two with a side of broccolini. The sauce was good but the chicken average at best. The broccolini was very tough and essentially uneditable. We ordered Giada’s cookies for dessert. The glazed lemon ricotta cookies were fabulous. The chocolate cookie with jam and the chocolate chip cookie were both very dry. All in all it was average food at best, nothing special. However, the service was fabulous and our table by the window was wonderful.

The food was excellent—pricey, but delicious. The restaurant itself is really nice, lots of windows overlooking The Strip. The generic pop music was not appropriate... how about Italian music, something contemporary. The servers added nothing to the experience. We pictured Giada’s restaurant being run by vibrant & warm people like her. Overall, the food was so good, we would come back.

Excellent overall... the only thing that was a tad off was that the king crab on the seafood tower was a bit fishy. The lemon crema pasta is not too be missed, so fresh and different! The scallops were exquisite as were the desserts; personal favorite read the lemon ricotta cookie...WOW!!

The food was fantastic but the front desk staff not so much. We arrived about 10 minutes early and were told to wait in the lounge but no one checked on us or even gave any indication of when we would be seated. We had to go back twice to ask when we were being seated and the "ladies" up front were less than helpful. Our table was by the windows so we had a great view of the Bellagio fountains and as stated before the food was fantastic. The manager may have picked up on our dissatisfaction with the service so he did stop by but it is always best to make a good first impression.

Everything was brilliant! We shared the steak and they offered to cut it for us (for easy serving). Don’t pass up on the Brussel sprouts they are amazing. Pastas are a perfect side size. Please give this place a try. You’ll love it.

There were 3 in our group.
We all had different Entrees & cocktails, wine.
The food @ Guida’s is both freshly prepared, delicious & creative.
The Baked & lightly charred Brussel Sprouts were the BEST we’ve had.
The Butternut Lobster Squash with Pecans was especially memorable.
The Chocolate Soufflé had a robust chocolate flavour with homemade
Vanilla Ice Cream, which had homemade. Marshmallow chunks. Divine!

The ambience was lively & our view included the fountains @ The Bellagio across the street.

The Lattes were hot & the quality of coffee 5 stars!

Definitely returning next time we’re in Vegas!

Terrific food in a gorgeous setting with views of the Bellagio fountain show from most areas of the dining room. Great service, too, and very reasonably priced for Las Vegas considering how good the food was. The staff says Giada vists monthly and the attention to detail showed. Highly recommended.

Waiter was super pretentiousness and did not provide any level of service. Did not take order correctly and did not check back after initial order was taken. Disappointed with entire experience. Scallops were finished with sea salt that gave the dish the texture of egg shells or sand in the dish which was off putting.

We loved it all and have been here before. Consistently though, the hostesses are all very snooty. The cocktail waitress - same. Waiter - same. I think Giada has a real problem on her hands and needs a new staff. Too many hundreds of people have complained about this issue. If we’re spending over $200 for dinner for two, and that was without a bottle of wine, act like you want us there. I can go to Bautista’s less than one mile away for amazing Italian, spend about $75 for two, and they treat you like family.
