    Every time I go to Atlanta, I make plans to go . Sunday was perfect. It wasn’t busy and I was able to sit at the bar . The bartenders were super helpful and nice .

    This was our first time visiting. I made reservations and was quickly seated. Very happy with the food, drinks, service and ambiance. The fried salmon and grits, and blackened catfish were amazing. We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

    I checked out Kitchen + Kocktails in Atlanta and loved it just as much as the Charlotte location. I had the catfish with collard greens and black-eyed peas, and everything was seasoned so well, real comfort food vibes. That marshmallow espresso martini? Fire. The whole vibe in there was on point, great music, stylish crowd, and super friendly servers. Definitely a spot I’d go back to whenever I’m in town.

    Review: Kitchen + Kocktails – Perimeter Mall (Between Shake Shack & Maggiano’s) Let’s talk about the reservation experience—yes, the strict dress code notice raised a few eyebrows. That said, once we arrived, I spotted Crocs, skin, and some very bold outfits, so enforcement seems pretty relaxed. We were greeted with a friendly “Welcome home” and seated promptly once our full party arrived. This location opened in early December and joins others across cities like D.C. The décor is nice enough, though surprisingly worn for such a new spot. There’s a stunning rose wall perfect for photo ops, and a roaming photographer offers to snap your table’s pic for $25 in a glass frame. My advice? Save your cash—grab your phone and let the waitstaff work their angles. You’ll get a great shot either way. Now, the food. You must try the Soul Rolls. Think egg rolls stuffed with candied yams, collard greens, and mac & cheese—yes, it’s as good as it sounds. The fried green tomatoes were also a standout. I ordered the Chicken & Peach Cobbler Waffles, and even after filling up on apps, I powered through. The chicken was a bit salty for my taste but super crispy, and the waffle was decent. Honestly, the menu is full of tempting options, and I plan to explore more next time. Based on those Soul Rolls alone, the veggie game is strong. The full bar features a variety of creative drink options, and our waitress was both attentive and well-informed. Big plus. I’ll definitely be back. This place gives off Marcus Bar & Grill energy—not quite ready to make comparisons, but the vibes are in the same neighborhood. Lots of young people and music was on point and the volume allowed comfortable table discussion.

    We had a wonderful experience for brunch. The catfish and grits was crispy and delicious. The drinks were amazing and our server was the best!!! Will definitely be coming back!

    Outstanding service from start to finish. The drink selection was impressive, and each cocktail was crafted to perfection. The food was absolutely top tier—every bite was worth it. Truly an experience worth every penny!

    The overall experience was warm and welcoming. I really enjoyed the creative appetizers, especially the collard greens dip. However, I did feel the prices were a bit steep. Even coming from L.A., where dining out can be pricey, the cost here seemed high. The shrimp and grits were generously portioned, but unfortunately, the flavor didn’t match the high price. I’ve had similar dishes elsewhere with better taste at nearly half the cost, so this one didn’t quite feel worth it. One moment that really stood out: I accidentally left my sunglasses on the table, and a staff member came all the way out to the parking lot to return them to me. That level of service was impressive—he could’ve easily just left them at the front and waited for me to call. Despite a few drawbacks, That said, I’d definitely come back for happy hour—the atmosphere and appetizers alone make it worth a return visit.
