Paya is an exuberant, island-inspired restaurant and bar located on Miami’s South Beach founded by Mohamed “Mo” Alkassar and Chef Niven Patel, the duo behind FEAL Hospitality. It is a platform for Chef Niven Patel to pay homage to the insular cuisines of the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, and Spain’s islands, where he and Mo have either worked or visited extensively. Chef Niven’s dishes incorporate ingredients he grows at Rancho Patel, complemented by vibrant wines and tropical, farm to glass cocktails.

The restaurant features 56 dining room seats, 25 bar seats, and 8 raw bar seats, with a gorgeous display of fresh seafood. Expect to jam to some Manu Chao style music while basking in the vibrant island vibes and flavors. South Beach has been home to Mo since he moved to Miami in 2016, and Paya is his thank-you to the community that supported him through his journey.

Delicious meal at Paya last night. Great flavours, the fish and seafood appetisers a particular highlight. A big shoutout for our sever and the host. We were looked after very well.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! It is such a value in a place where so much is overpriced. The 10 course tasting menu has a little bit of everything. Spicy, sweet, savory. Standouts to our group were the papaya salad, the lamb chops, the skirt steak, the curried fish, and the rum cake. Also, we got the Jell-O shots, which were an elevated, foodie take and nothing like the ones we grew up with. They were so fun! We will definitely be back to this beautiful and delicious restaurant.

Our multiple experiences at Paya have been amazing in every way. Last evening we celebrated a friend’s birthday. We were seated in the garden on a beautiful summer evening with a pool view and a gentle breeze. Our server, Abdel, was attentive in every way. The cuisine at Paya is extraordinary. We tried a couple of new items to us - chicken/pineapple skewers app and the lamb shank entree. Both delectable! Paya is clearly one of the best restaurants on Miami Beach and needs a visit by anyone looking for a memorable time.

Delicious food, attentive service and a beautiful atmosphere at Paya! Our party enjoyed the duck lumpia, conch fritters, papaya salad and Brie toast (Sullivan St. bread), for appetizers. The skirt steak was tender, delicious and sliced and served with roasted potatoes. Local snapper in the coconut milk over jasmine rice was also flavorful. For dessert we loved the rum cake with ice cream and the tart was the perfect ending to our meal.

We had a tasting menu which i belive is 75$ on a regular day and 50$ on Mondays. Food was amazing, service was great I would definitely recommend to go on a Monday try what this restaurant have to offer and go back again and order from a regular menu.

Paya is Miami Beach’s best-kept secret. The food is exceptional, bursting with flavor, and the service is consistently flawless. The staff makes you feel like part of the family from the moment you arrive. And the $75 tasting menu? Easily the best value on the beach.

Wonderful and very honest restaurant in a town where many restaurants are more about flash then substance. Great flavors. As a restaruant professional, the portions are actaully too big! Sunday night so it was a bit quiet but service was spot on. Well done
