The manager Maja was very pleasant, she gave me a warm welcome upon arrival and sat me on the patio as requested. The weather was perfect! My husband and I enjoyed our brunch on the outdoor terrace area. Though our food was tasty, nothing arrived particularly hot; uncertain however, it all seemed lukewarm. We ordered Salted Caramel Lattes (one hot, one iced), avocado toast, hash brown, caramel and banana French toast, cookie dough Belgian waffles and eggs over hard. Our server Paulina was personable, service was efficient and overall friendly. Would recommend this restaurant and return in the foreseeable future.

The food was okay not what I was expecting but okay. The service was so bad we eat our food and the server never came to ask how was everything or how was our food! We saw her when I had to stop her to ask for our check.

It was so wonderful that we went two days in a row on the weekend we were visiting. Amazing food, speedy and friendly service (we had the same waitress both times and she remember us and our orders), and reasonable prices!! also love that it was so easy to make a reservation online and there’s a garage right next door that is free for the first 3 hours!

This was the first time I have been to this restaurant. My son highly recommended it. The food was fabulous. I had the French toast with berries and couldn’t even come close to finishing it. The service was also excellent. Highly recommend.

while the ambience was amazing and we loved the presentation of our food (we love performative meals), the entrées were very mediocre (we got the chicken and waffles AND the caramelized banana french toast, which literally came with three pinky-sized slices of caramelized banana) and the value/quality for what we paid just didn't meet. The hot coco and the mimosa flight was amazing tho!

The pumpkin Belgian waffle was excellent especially if you like sweet meals. The lemon shortbread pancakes were too dense for our palate though tasty. The pancake is actually made from shortbread. Portion sizes are large here.

Sunnyside Cafe was just about all I could ever ask for in a Breakfast/brunch experience. Simple, yet great menu variety. Something for everyone whether it’s sweet or savory, breakfast or lunch, or even just some snacks for picking. Awesome bloody mary and both the Strawberry Cheesecake pancakes and Pumpkin Waffles were the tastiest breakfast items I’ve been served at a restaurant.
