A Rare Steakhouse, Well Done.

Rosebud Steakhouse prides itself in creating a true Chicago steakhouse experience for all of its guests. We offer superior quality, dry and wet aged cuts that are locally sourced by Linz Heritage Angus Beef. Visit our original location on Chicago's Magnificent Mile, our Indiana location in Munster, and soon, our first restaurant in Texas located in Southlake, Tx.

Rosebud Steakhouse in Wheeling IS NOT part of the Rosebud Restaurant Group, consequently we do not honor Rosebud Gift Card (similar to the ones from COSTCO). We are part of the CHC RESTAURANT group, and our Gift Cards can be used at any of our restaurants, including Rosebud Steakhouse on Magnificent Mile, Rosebud Steakhouse in Centennial Village, Coppolillo's Italian Steakhouse in both Libertyville, IL and Crown Point, IN, and soon to come, Windy City Social in Munster, and Rosebud Steakhouse in Dallas, TX. Top shelf! This was the first time I was in the restaurant and took my parents there to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary. Everyone from the time we were greeted, to the weight staff, to the managerial staff was fantastic. They were warm and welcoming, and wanted to ensure you had a great time. The food was fantastic. On top of that, I don’t think the prices were overly steep for what we were getting. All the meats were USDA prime, and everybody at the table enjoyed their meal. I’m guessing it’s the newness and they were filling in, but not totally filled up. I would imagine overtime this restaurant will become more and more crowded as people catch on to the fact it’s here. My wife and I will definitely be revisiting soon and I’m sure we’ll want to sit at the bar which had a great vibe. Until then, I hope this review helps you all. Really a great place. Give it a try!

Little disappointed in the special appetizer, which was oysters, Rockefeller. They were literally the size of a clam. Not worth the money or the appetizer choice. Also, OpenTable asked if it was a celebration of any sort, and it was my husband‘s birthday, and it was not acknowledged in anyway. Disappointed in that. Most restaurants of that caliber would give you a complimentary dessert to be shared. We did not receive that.

Service was inconsistent ( the waiter disappeared at times and had to be asked several times for bread before he finally told us seemingly annoyed "it's cooking"). The Chicago Ribeye was good but had quite a bit of gristle. The ambiance is a bit cold in my opinion.

Our first time at the Wheeling Rosebud location. Nice modern decor. Server was very attentive. Only concern was location of our table which was in a high traffic area. Would ask for another table next time
