   My family dined on a weekday evening, we made reservations ahead of time and there was no wait time when we arrived. The sides: Mac n cheese, and greens were really good. The stuffed shrimp appetizer was my favorite, I loved the succotash at the bottom and the sauce on top was amazing. We also had the catfish, fried snapper which both had big portions and were fried to perfection. The lamb chops were cooked perfectly and the fried deviled eggs were a different but delicious bite. We will definitely be back, the ambience and service was great. Refills are not included so keep that in mind when dining.

   Service slow. Some did not receive what they ordered. My sister canceled her drink after waiting over 15 minutes. I wanted a corn roll to go, I was told that it would take awhile. My husband asked about dessert, he was told it would take a minute. My mother and brother n law first time there and they weren’t impressed, sad to say. I’ll stick to the one in Silver Spring. Better service

   I was seated 30 minutes after my reservation and waited at least 10 minutes before a waiter came over. There were so many issues with the kitchen. After about a 30 minute wait, only one person from our party had food. No one had silverware and the food items for the remaining three of us was brought out sporadically. The sides were delicious but my snapper was completely overcooked. I’d like to think the staff was simply underprepared for the hustle and bustle of the holiday.

   Overall, everything was good. It’s just does not measure up to the service, ambiance and quality as the one in Silver Spring. I guess I shouldn’t compare but I’ve been to the Silver Spring and loved everything. So I was excited to now have one in the Baltimore Area. I would still recommend coming because the food was good. Just for those that have been to the other location it’s just a different experience.

   Having been to the location in Silver Spring I was excited to see if this new Baltimore location was comparable. The service was excellent. Our server was attentive, friendly and efficient. We ordered apps Chargrilled Oysters and the best Spinach dip I have ever had. Portions were large so honestly after apps I was full. For entrees we ordered Catfish, one blackened and one fried. As sides we had Mac n cheese and collard greens. The food was delicious. My only criticism was that the cornbread should come with the meal and not as an additional paid side order. Also the cocktail I ordered was very light on the alcohol for the price point of $17. Overall I give Ms Toya’s Baltimore location a thumbs up. Check it out

   I’ve been here several times and this is the first time I had an unappetizing meal. My blackened catfish was burnt and dry and in pieces

   Everything was a 10/10 the only item I purchased that could’ve been better were the collard greens. Great experience. Definitely will be back!!

    This was first time going to celebrate my husband’s birthday,with family the service was amazing my waitress D’Aishia was amazing as well she was very attentive and helpful to us.I will try again with more family and friends.
