Resos for 630p; not full for a Saturday evening in the summer by any stretch. By 8pm, half our party had their drinks and zero food had come out. We left to go to Waves across the street. What a joke. Do not recommend. Limited menu too and very pricey.

Had a reservation, and when we arrived, I was asked to wait about 10 minutes, which turned into 15. Sat outside near the water...nice, but no server for about 30 minutes. Finally, a nice man comes over and advised he was not working in that area but saw us sitting for some time without being serviced. He took our food and drink order and got the ball rolling. My pasta dish was good. the only issue was with my salad that came when I was almost done eating my main dish. I will give one more try to see if we can get some improvements

We had an awesome time took my husband and two other couples. It was our 1st time and it was amazing. We was there 30 min early and sat at the bar. The atmosphere was beautiful. It was a beautiful day to look at all the boating and the people was awesome. Our waiter Joe did a excellent job.

Our experience started off rough. We had a 2:45pm reservation. The hostess was utterly and completely rude and told us "just so you know, the kitchen is closed from 3-3:30". After we were taken to our table - we noticed it was set for 6 people and our reservation was for 8 people. The manager quickly addressed this and made it for 8. The manager also explained that the hostess misunderstood and that they switch menus between the hour of 3-4 but that we could still order off the lunch menu. It took a while (at least 15 minutes) for anyone to come to our table and fill our water glasses. The waitress filling our glasses (Riley) stated she was not our server, but she would take our table. Riley was great! She did all she could to help make our first experience at Hook enjoyable. We ordered appetizers (two orders of wings) because we were told they were out of the White Fish dip. The appetizers came out relatively in a good time. We placed our food order right away as well. It took at least 45 minutes to get our lunches. We were all trying to be as patient as possible. We received our food, finally , and it was very good. We then asked for boxes and were told the restaurant had run out of boxes and someone on staff ran out to get some. So, we had to wait for the boxes too. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience outweighed the the delicious food and we do not see ourselves going back to Hook.

There was not enough staff in the kitchen for Father’s Day. Food orders were out of order and took extremely too long. The waiter was new which was a poor decision on a holiday. This was my first impression and I cannot return.

Overall I highly recommend Hook as a great night out. The dockside views and the atmosphere of the restaurant were beyond what I was expecting and the food was made to perfection. The staff was professional and aware of our needs without having to ask. They closed a air vent that was blowing cold air on our table and continuously checked in on us. The only downside was the music inside the restaurant was just a bit too loud but other than that it was amazing.

The service was terrible! If anyone gets Patrick ask for another server. Took him 10 minutes to approach us and he only had 2 tables. It took him another 15 minutes to get my glass of wine the first time. When I asked for a second glass he took my glass that still had wine in it and put it on the bar. 15 minutes later my husband had to track him down to get my wine. Meanwhile I had gone up to the bar to get my wine glass back! Asked for pepper when our entrees were delivered. Pepper arrived when we got our check! Worst service we have ever had anywhere.
