we arrived at the restaurant on time and we’re promptly seated within five minutes of our reservation. The building and dining area are new and very attractive. Noise level was high and a conversation was difficult. As far as the food is concerned, the chicken Parm was good, the Bianco lasagna with short rib was very tasty. Lightly overcooked the noodles were mushy. The salads especially the Tuscan kale was exceptional. One thing missing that is a standard at any Italian restaurant I have been to is there is no garlic bread and there was a significant charge for any bread. I would go back and try something else on the menu. Service was excellent, and our server had a lot of personality and engaged us as customers. We noted a lot of takeout orders and that there was a special window for takeout pick up so that those diners don’t have to come into the restaurant. That was innovative.

Great drinks, food, and service. North Italia is always just perfect for me. One surprise-first time I ordered their “Simple” salad. It’s anything but simple. It’s a really, really good salad. And I got just a 1/2 as a side salad to my pasta entree. Next time I want one of their great looking pizzas, along with 1/2 a Simple salad, and an Aperol Spritz, and an espresso.

Second time to North in Peoria. We had a really nice time with friends. Appetizers and cocktails were very good. The entrees were delicious, and the dessert was decadent. Thank you!

Emma was great! She was helpful in suggesting entrees, she was attentive and when only one affogato (instead of 2 ) came to table , she quickly ordered 2 to come at the same time. Mojito and old fashioned were great; Seasonal vegetable salad was delicious ( enough to split between 2 people.) We ate al fresco and was very comfortable with fans and misters. I recommend this restaurant in Peoria and I will be back. .

I've dined at North Italia at another location and this new location in Peoria was spectacular. The food, same wonderful flavors, loved it! We had everything from pizzas, the eggplant, to the salads...and of course ordered the zucca chips and the charcuterie board! Can't wait to come back.

had lasagna , did not look like any i have ever eaten or made, but tasted very good. i would not call it lasagna... wife hd chicken parm sandwich very good also. will return lots of good choices on menu

The food and service was amazing. The butcher’s platter for an appetizer was the perfect mix of sweet and savory with a taste of everything. The seafood, risotto, and pasta are fresh and cooked to perfection. The tiramisu is so light and airy perfect for summer. Nicole the server and Edward the manager are both so attentive and helpful. The way we were treated made us feel like we’ve been going there for years and it was our first time!

Long time favorite, but this experience will challenge us to re-think this location. We had six at 6:15. Seating wasn’t an issue, but well over 10 minutes until greeted, then pretty much chaos. Between apps, salads, and meals, nothing was smooth. Two meals, the simplest, just pasta with sauce delivered 15 minutes after the first four meals. Pasta last is wild, after pizza, chicken parm, meatballs. And, then delivered wrong. Things happen, we get it, but no real accountability, just an attempt to give a free dessert, which we didn’t want at that point. Had to prompt them to take at least one meal off, which they did, but overall a poor performance.
